About the home
“Phillip Island Style” is a delightful double-storey family home in Cowes just a short walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Take a leisurely stroll to central Cowes for coffee or dine at the nearby restaurants. With quick access to beaches, return home for a sundowner on the deck, enjoy a BBQ on the lawn in Summer or warm your soul by the fireplace. Perfect for a serene getaway. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs a central hallway provides access to a Family Room (with 50" Smart TV), Bedroom 4 (with BIR), a Bathroom (with huge shower & vanity) and a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) leading to a separate Toilet. There is also internal access into the Garage and the back yard. Upstairs is the huge open plan light-filled Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with 50" Smart TV, blue tooth sound bar, fuzbol table & fireplace) leading to the upstairs Balcony. Also upstairs are Bedrooms 1 (with BIR), Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3 (with BIR), a central Bathroom (with bath, shower & vanity) and a separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The wrap-around Balcony (with gas BBQ & seating for 6) overlooks the delightful enclosed front yard, and the semi-covered rear Patio (with seating for 8 & sun umbrella) overlooks the fully enclosed yard (with outdoor shower) - a perfect space for kids to play. The tandem drive-through Garage (with fold-up table tennis table, and internal access) has parking for 1 car, and there is space for another 2 cars in the driveway.
Note: There are cameras on the property facing external areas only.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Espresso coffee machine (guests to bring own ground coffee), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the upstairs Kitchen/Dining/Living room, a fireplace (wood not provided) plus one additional stand-alone heater and fours fans which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 7 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): Two Single beds
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Queen bed and one set of Single bunks
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
