This stylish, landmark residence located on Howe Crescent, South Melbourne is literally dress circle inner Melbourne and directly overlooks a tree lined grassed park.
The home is within easy walking distance to famous Albert Park, Melbourne’s premier sports, aquatic and recreation park with its stunning lake. Nearby is the historic Emerald Hill precinct with its heritage listed “gold rush” period Town Hall, the popular South Melbourne Market and all the great shops, cafes and restaurants of nearby Clarendon Street, South Melbourne and Bridport Street, Albert Park.
The home was architecturally designed and externally features a classic colonnade façade. Inside the modern interior has collection of original artworks (many by family members), fine antiques and contemporary furniture.
The home has three stylish bedrooms and a spacious executive study that can convert to a fourth bedroom with its single sofa bed. This home comfortably sleeps up to seven guests.
Downstairs, the Queen Master Bedroom has a luxurious ensuite and walk in robe.
The second Queen Bedroom, with garden outlook, has a built-in wardrobe, work desk and shelving.
The third King Single Bedroom that overlooks a courtyard garden has an single sofa bed for extra accommodation, a large work desk with shelving and a built in wardrobe.
Also downstairs, the executive Study can be used as a fourth bedroom with its fold out single sofa bed. The Study looks out over the stunning park and comes complete with a spacious desk, all the needed shelving, stationary, printer, a stand up desk, ergonomic ball chair and comfortable electronic reclining massage chair.
The bedrooms share a modern central Bathroom that's perfect for guests and visitors.
Between the two bedrooms is a well equipped children’s/teenager’s retreat that works as a second living space complete with two work stations, books, games and toys. Some art, handicraft and sewing items are on hand for guests' use.
Adjacent to the Retreat is a fully equipped laundry with washer and dryer. An iron and ironing board is supplied.
Upstairs the large, light-filled living and separate dining area features expansive vaulted cathedral ceilings.
The Living Room has a large luxurious leather couch and Juliet balcony that looks out and over the trees and greenery of the park. The Living Room is complete with a giant Smart TV, Netflix, Bose sound system, Yamaha electric piano and a useful timber desk.
The Dining Room, that comfortably seat eight, sits next to the Kitchen and opens to the Living Room. The Dining Room looks out towards the park and an upper terrace.
The spacious, modern Kitchen has a breakfast bar and modern European appliances. The chef’s kitchen and pantry comes well equipped with everything needed for cooking pleasure.
Off the Kitchen is a sunny, north-facing outdoor terrace that is perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining with an outdoor table for twelve and mains gas barbecue.
The home is ideal for entertaining or working from home featuring excellent wi-fi and nine workstations. There is a desk in each of the three bedrooms plus seven workstations. Private desks are located in the office with its attractive park outlook and two of the bedrooms. Open plan desking is located in the living room, retreat, reception and the large sunny breakfast bar areas.
For guests’ pleasure there is a external Wellness Studio (Gym) with
a pull-up bar, vibration platform, 2 yoga mats, 2 yoga blocks, 1 yoga bolster, 1 yoga strap, boxing gloves and practice pads, skipping rope and a Swiss ball.
The studio overlooks a private courtyard garden complete with herbs for cooking.
A bike, a scooter, and helmets are provided in the Wellness Studio for guests' use on the many safe dedicated bike paths.
The house has gas central heating, air conditioning, fast WiFi, Netflix and free off-street parking right outside the door.
