LUXUSHISTORISCHE VILLA IN TOSKANA MIT EIGENEM POOL UND AC - 8 MEILEN VON FLORENZ

Das La Quercia Estate ist ein Luxushaus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, das vollständig aus antiken Terrakotta und Steinen erbaut wurde. Die Villa wurde 1963 von dem abstrakten Maler Francesco Clemente gekauft und seine Gemälde können im Anwesen bewundert werden.

Diese Villa befindet sich in Impruneta, nur 1,5 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, das für die Terrakottaproduktion bekannt ist.

Die Villa liegt auf einem Hügel, der die Chianti-Hügel dominiert, und ist nur 12 km von Florenz entfernt.

Diese Lage ist ideal, da sich auch einige der berühmtesten Städte der Toskana wie Siena (40 km), San Gimignano (30 km), Lucca (54 km) und Pisa (57 km) in der Nähe befinden.

Santa Maria Novella Bahnhof in Florenz 10 Meilen von der Villa entfernt ist, ist Peretola Flughafen 17 Meilen, und die Autobahn ist 5 Meilen.

In der Stadt Impruneta, die auch zu Fuß in 25 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist, finden die Gäste alles, was sie zum Einkaufen benötigen. Es gibt einen Supermarkt, einen Stand für Mo / Mi / Fr für frisches Obst und Gemüse, einen Fischstand am Donnerstag, eine Metzgerei, ein Café, eine Konditorei, eine Bäckerei, eine Apotheke, Restaurants und einen Busservice, der mit Florenz in Verbindung steht 30 Minuten.

Für die Aktivsten bietet Impruneta zwei Tennis-Sandplätze, einen schönen Golfplatz und einen Reitclub.

Die asphaltierte Straße von der Villa in die Stadt ist ideal, um am frühen Morgen oder bei Sonnenuntergang spazieren zu gehen.

Vor dem Haupteingang des Hauses gibt es eine schöne Loggia mit Esstisch und Korbstühlen und einem Wohnbereich mit Bambusmöbeln.

Auf der Rückseite des Anwesens gibt es eine hundertjährige Eiche (La Quercia auf Italienisch), unter der sich ein Essbereich im Freien mit einem runden Tisch aus Stein und ein weiterer Wohnbereich vor einem Salzwasser befindet privates Schwimmbad, umgeben von Lorbeer- und Zypressenhecken.

Neben der Villa befindet sich ein Gästehaus mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem niedlichen kleinen Badezimmer mit Duschkabine.

Die Villa verfügt über ein Gästehaus mit insgesamt 5 Schlafzimmern und 5 eigenen Bädern. Sie bietet Platz für bis zu 10 Personen.

Jedes Schlafzimmer ist mit einer modernen Klimaanlage ausgestattet.

Das Landgut La Quercia ist von 20 Hektar Land umgeben. Die Unterkunft produziert weißen Trebbiano- und roten San Giovese-Wein sowie natives Olivenöl extra aus den 600 Jahrhunderte alten Olivenbäumen.

Das Anwesen verfügt über Hühner, die täglich frische Eier legen, einen Bio-Garten, in dem unter anderem Zucchini, grüne Bohnen, Salate, Tomaten, Kohl und Zwiebeln angebaut werden. Es gibt Pfirsich-, Granatapfel-, Aprikosen- und Feigenbäume, aus denen Marmeladen hergestellt werden. Auf dem Grundstück, das von alten Eichenwäldern umgeben ist, werden Salbei, Rosmarin, Minze und Basilikum angebaut.

Die Loggia überblickt einen antiken Steinterrasseplatz mit einem dekorativen Brunnen, der einst in Betrieb war, und einen englischen Rosengarten in verschiedenen Farben und mit einem unglaublichen Duft.

Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend aus rund um die Immobilie.

Das weitläufige Gelände der Sicherung der Privatsphäre und reichlich Möglichkeiten für Ruhe und Entspannung, und die Vor-Ort-Personal eingestellt wird, ein hohes Maß an Gastfreundschaft für alle Gäste besuchen zu abzielen.

Magnificent!

This is such a lovely property that I enjoyed with my family for a special birthday celebration. Our host Margherita is as beautiful as the property is magnificent. She was so gracious and helpful. We so enjoyed taking a cooking class with her and her mother Veronica, who learned traditional Tuscan cooking from her grandmother. They also made a delicious dinner for us one evening. The rooms are beautifully appointed in neutral shades and very comfortable. We highly recommend this fabulous place!

Picturesque Tuscan villa

We loved this property! It’s the Tuscan experience we were looking for. Margarita is a wonderful host who is respectful of your privacy but has another separate home on the land, so is helpful if needed. The house is incredible! It was built in the 1600’s but has been completely updated. The views are dreamy with all the olive trees and vineyards. Would love to come back and stay for a longer period of time when the weather is a little warmer! I would take Margarita up on their stocking of grocery service. Thanks for our incredible Tuscan experience!

Absolutely beautiful old villa run by caring owners

If you ever want to stay in an Italian villa surrounded by gorgeous Tuscan hills, olive groves, and vineyards, near a classic small medieval Italian town -- complete with bustling cafes, great restaurants, and fresh bakeries -- this is the place for you! Owner Veronica is a generous, passionate, talented person, and manager and marketing head Margherita (Veronica's daughter) is very sharp, dependable, and caring -- she was very accessible and made many calls for us on our behalf to help is schedule events. We stayed in the villa during olive picking season and had a wonderful experience watching the Clementes do their first olive pressing of the fall. We took a wonderful cooking class from Veronica in their on-premise cooking studio (she's a trained chef, among other things). We spent many afternoons outside under the beautiful front veranda, eating local bread and cheese and enjoying the easy-drinking estate Chianti classico. The drive into magical Florence is an easy one from the villa, and many other fun towns -- Siena, Panzano, Montpulciano -- are within 60 minutes. The rooms are beautifully laid out, each with an en suite bathroom. The kitchen is highly functional and modern. (And no need for an alarm clock -- Salvatore, the Clemente's gentleman rooster, serves that purpose nicely!) For an idyllic vacation in Tuscany, away from the hustle and bustle of cities, Villa La Quercia is the place to stay.

Wonderful retreat in hills outside Florence

In La Quercia Estate we found a wonderful retreat for we and three different couples each of the 4 weeks we were there. We enjoyed not only the serene setting and very good accommodation but also excellent private chef meals prepared by the owner and her staff at our request as well as enjoyable cooking classes for those so interested. For those of our group preferring to cook meals, the kitchen proved well equipped with plenty of china and cutlery. Recently installed heating and air conditioning in the bedrooms proved very useful and a great addition. The estates main living and dining rooms easily accommodated the 8 people in our party and the outdoor sitting areas were frequently used until the weather turned cooler. Up to date wi-fi proved adequate and up to the challenge for all. As we had anticipated, the estate's location is central to most of Tuscany enabling day trips as far as Cinque Terre to the Northwest, Bologna, Florence of course, and Siena, San Gimignano, and Volterre to the South and Southwest. The town of Impruneta has good provisioning with a local small market, cafes and stores; however, a major supermarket is 20 minutes away by car. Transit from Impruneta to Florence is available by bus, however, it is recommended that one have an auto for transport.

A wonderful relaxing picturesque home for families

We had such a great week at La Quercia. The owner, Margherita, gave us a personal tour and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed every day; traveling to darling towns close by or just playing in the pool and eating dinner afterwards on the wonderful patio in front of the house. We had a special cooking class, given by the owner, that was so memorable. We are all trying to re-create the sage focaccia that we learned to make that day. What a treat! We had a trip of a life time!

Absolute perfection!

Our stay at La Quercia was absolutely amazing. Leading up to the trip, Margherita was extremely responsive and helpful in answering questions and ensuring we were prepared. Our stay was wonderful - the estate is in a great location near Impruneta and not too far from Florence and other Tuscan towns (we visited Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Siena, San Gimignano and also did a wine tasting experience). The view was so stunning and picturesque - photos don't even do it justice...it was exactly what we envisioned for our vacation! The villa is beautiful inside and out, and has an authentic feel. Throughout our stay, Margherita prepared some special touches and made us feel so welcome. The highlight of our entire trip was the dinner that Veronica and Margherita prepared for us - they were both so kind and hospitable, and the food and wine (from the on-site vineyards) was outstanding. We would love to return in the future, and cannot say enough positive things about this property!! -Tiffany and Family

L’annonce présente une maison luxueuse:pas vraiment, vaisselle IKEA mobilier extérieur usagé , cinq chambres :en réalité trois sont correctes à l’etage, mais pour deux les salles de bain sont petites Une autre chambre est en arrière cuisine en contrebas la salle de bains est très petite avec de fortes odeurs d’egouts la cinquième aménagée dans une annexe de jardin, est en option et doit être payée en espèces L.electricite est facturée en plus et la propriétaire retient sur la caution les frais de paiement sécurisé qu’a Retenu homelidays alors que nous avons déjà réglé à la réservation nos propres frais Lave vaisselle et lave linge hors d’usage à notre arrivée le samedi remplacés le jeudi seulement (2 nourrissons ) Dans la cour devant la terrasse où nous prenons nos repas nous avons du supporter pendant une semaine la présence de locataires dans une petite annexe qui bien sûr ne figure pas sur les photos sans compter le coq à 3 h du matin et les aboiements provenant d.un chenil à longueur de journée Deux places de parking dans la propriété mais la propriétaire en réserve une pour y stationner son véhicule donc une place pour 6 personnes et deux bébés devant nos remarques à l’arrivée concernant toutes ces surprises la propriétaire s’est montrée très désagréable .pas d’etat Des lieux à l’entree Mais elle nous annonce une visite très méticuleuse de la maison à notre départ!!! pas de contrat de séjour avant notre arrivée commed’habitude Avec les clients homelidays très mauvaise expérience

Wonderful place for a family vacation; wonderful hosts.

This is a beautiful estate in a quiet location near the small town of Impruneta in Tuscany. Margherita and Veronica are such sweet and helpful hosts, and the villa is appointed with their personal touches that give it warmth and make if feel very welcoming. The weather during our stay in late May was a little rainy and cool, but we had a wonderful stay nonetheless. This villa is located in such a way that you can take great day trips to places like Volterra, Siena, Florence, and Chianti.

Et fantastisk sted!

Vi var en familie på 8 personer som har bodd en uke i Villa La Quercia. Et fantastisk hus i nydelige omgivelser. Huset inneholdt alt hva man skulle ønske seg, flott innredet. Vertskapet bidro til at oppholdet ble ekstra bra, alltid behjelpelig ved behov og la til rette for at vi skulle ha det så bra som mulig. Matlagingskurset med Veronica var et av høydepunktene i løpet av uka. Hun var så engasjert og villig til å dele av sin kunnskap om italiensk matlaging. En dag med vinsmaking hos Frescobaldi er også et av de gode minnene vi sitter igjen med. Tusen takk for oss! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Anbefaler så absolutt bostedet for andre som ønsker å oppleve det gode liv i Toscana.

Beautiful Tuscan home in the country

We spent Christmas 2017 at La Quercia with our adult children. It is just a beautiful home with fabulous Tuscan character. We had not been to Impruneta before, and we just loved the town. The house is perfectly situated for visiting everything in Tuscany. Margherita, the host, arranged a wine tasting for us at Frescobaldi that was an amazing experience. She also made great restaurant suggestions, and the many meals we had at the Bella Vista restaurant in Impruneta became one of the most awesome parts of our vacation. The house is beautifully appointed, and when we arrived it had been decorated for Christmas. It was truly outstanding, as was our host. We would absolutely recommend La Quercia to anyone looking to visit Tuscany.

Fabulous Place!

We loved our two-week stay at La Quercia--one week with family, a second with friends. Comfortable house with wonderful pool, grounds, places to sit outside. Convenient by car or bus to Florence, plus Impruneta is a nice town with all the basic amenities. The owners live on site adjacent the villa, but ensure your privacy and are happy to provide recommendations. The house is beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed Veronica's cooking class and market tour, several delicious dinners she prepared, one with butler service. They also arranged a very fun wine tour for us. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful, special home in Chianti

Our group of 3 couples, 1 single person thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Quercia and wished we didn't have to leave! I echo all the other reviewer's comments: Margherita/Veronica were wonderful hosts- prompt in their responses, thorough in their orientation and overall really lovely to work with. The grounds are also exceptionally stunning; we regretted even thinking we could pull ourselves away from the villa for day trips! As others have noted, the electricity was VERY expensive (a little over 200 EUR for our 5 nights which included a 66 EUR credit card transaction fee), but we were prepared for it thanks to previous comments and just bit the bullet. I would strongly recommend you avoid renting any low-to-the-ground car with regards to the hills, bumps and various other driving pitfalls that can occur in Chianti/Tuscany. We were VERY grateful we rented crossover SUVs for the driveway alone! There is ample parking onsite for multiple cars if your group requires it. The local Coop grocery store is quite close and easy to get to as the villa isn't stocked with anything but the barest of essentials; there are also a few small markets in the town center + a small Saturday morning market at the clocktower as well. We really enjoyed cooking in and eating at the house, and encourage you to consider the same. The house is about 20 minutes to the Florence airport, and easily accessible to any of the famous Chianti/Tuscan towns. We can't wait to be back at La Quercia, and will be as soon as we possibly can!

Fantastic Villa

Our family of 8 (4 couples) had an amazing week at La Quercia. The property is beautiful, each bedroom comfortable, and we enjoyed walking in the vineyards and olive groves behind the house. It was even warm enough to enjoy the pool one day in mid-April. Very quiet and private location, but only a 2 minute drive / 20 minute walk into town. We enjoyed several dinners at La Loggettina restaurant on the main square in Impruneta, other nights we shopped at the Coop and cooked in the fabulous kitchen at the villa. Veronica and Margherita were great to communicate with, quick to respond to questions, and helped with restaurant reservations in Florence. We also loved Veronica's cooking class on our last evening. Great location for day trips we took to Florence, Siena, Chianti, Pisa, Volterra. A perfect vacation and would be happy to return one day.

Beautiful, well-located villa

Hi Marguerite and Veronica, I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to stay at Villa La Quercia! Our family thoroughly enjoyed your gracious hospitality, especially the dinner you made for us and the cooking class. We are enthusiastic about making our own focaccia and pasta now. The La Quercia was perfectly located for us to drive to the many vineyards and olive estates as well as go into Florence (by bus, even) for a day. The villa was beautiful and amply spacious for the 8 of us and we likely would have used the pool, if it had been a little warmer. You both were very patient in answering our questions and were helpful in giving us travel tips in setting our itinerary. Vacation of a Lifetime

My husband and I stayed at the villa for a week with 7 of our close friends. We all referred to it as a trip of a lifetime several times during the week. The villa is beautiful and peaceful. It is surrounded by the beautiful views of Tuscany. Acres of olive trees and vineyards. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Margherita greeted us when we arrived and was always available by text. We chose to have the chef prepared, butler served dinner one evening to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and it was an amazing experience! Marguerite's mother, Veronica is the chef. We all agreed it was the best meal we had in Italy! We definitely recommend La Quercia and we hope to stay again sometime!

Very special place - definitely recommend!

We had good fortune of spending one week in July 2016 at Villa La Quercia. Word repeated most by my family throughout week was.... "WOW!" I agree with reviews already posted here, so I am going to try to add some different feedback that hopefully will help other future guests: * Communication and financial transactions were awesome. Margherita and Veroncia were great to work with, and they provided very helpful information all throughout our stay. * Impruneta is in centralized location about one hour away from several great cities like Siena, Lucca and San Gimignano. Florence is about 45 minutes away, but plan for extra time as we hit some heavy traffic at times. "Coop" grocery store in Impruneta was convenient. * Villa is VERY well maintained and surrounding grounds are BEAUTIFUL. Owners work VERY hard at keeping villa clean and in nice condition. * Daytime temperatures in 90's, but inside villa during evening it was comfortable even though there is no A/C. There are screens on many windows, so mosquitoes were not too big of a problem. Fans provided in bedrooms helped. * Make sure you visit Sergio Ricceri who is famous Terracotta artist who lives on same street as villa. There is sign outside his studio, and he is very friendly and has many beautiful works for sale and at extremely reasonable prices. He gave us a wonderful tour of his studio and told us all about history of his family. REALLY COOL! * Housekeeping comes once during the week and did a nice job cleaning up the villa. Throughout week, my family and I kept villa neat ourselves. * Villa is "rustic", and that for us was charming. If you are looking for Four Seasons Hotel accommodations, then don't stay here. If you are looking for authentic Tuscan experience in beautiful setting and with excellent customer service, then Villa La Quercia is a fantastic choice. * Electric bill for our week was 200 Euros. Power is expensive in Italy, so we were not surprised by our bill. * Only two slight negatives during our stay. First, internet service was out for three days of our visit. It was NOT the fault of owners, but instead local telecom company caused problem. I feel that this could happen anywhere out in remote Tuscan countryside. Second, there was a dog nearby (but not on villa property) who barked a lot during the day, and this was distracting. At night we could NOT hear dog at all. * Overall, experience was FANTASTIC and we will remember our visit to Villa La Quercia forever!!!

Such a beautiful and special stay at La Quercia!

We anticipated a wonderful experience at La Quercia based on the description, but were bowled over at how truly lovely the property is and how exceptional our gracious hosts were. La Quercia is impeccably maintained, not an easy feat with a 17th century villa! The rose gardens, vineyards, olive groves, villa and our delightful hosts (Veronice and Margherita) made for an enchanting and most memorable experience. On our last evening, Veronica made a delicious meal and Margherita set a gorgeous table, which will stay in our thoughts and hearts forever. The village of Impruneta is very charming and offered all the provisioning we needed for our stay. La Quercia's location is ideal for day trips thoughout the region. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning. All the best to our amazing hosts.

Amazing Villa with amazing Mother/Daughter Hostess

WOW! A story book place. The villa was exactly as advertised- great layout, setup, and gorgeous views! The property is beautifully maintained and the surrounding roses, herbs, jasmine, and linden trees leave you breathless. Veronica and Margherita were lovely hostesses attending to whatever we asked for. We LOVED the butler service dinner on our first night of arrival. The food and service were just lovely as we looked out over the olive groves. The cooking class was unforgettable and left me wanting to stay for a month just to soak up the passion and love for cooking that Veronica has. The location was perfect for visiting Florence, Sienna, and the many quaint towns that dot the Tuscan countryside. LOVED this Villa and hope to be back some day. Highly recommend!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Villa La Quercia and highly recommend it. We visited in the spring for two weeks with our adult children and guests. The villa is charming and the views are magnificent. Marguerita and Veronica were so helpful, and in fact, invited us to stay with them personally at the end of our trip, when one of our party had a medical issue that might have postponed our flight home. We also loved the cooking classes. We would love to return soon.
