The Space:
This is a lovely, quiet, family-oriented neighborhood, just off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle of lively 11th street– recently voted one of the coolest streets in America!

Arriving at Lonestar by Portoro, you're welcomed by a picturesque shade tree and an inviting front porch. Step inside to discover an open-concept layout seamlessly connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen, ensuring guests stay connected and immersed in vacation enjoyment. A half bath and a den featuring a daybed are conveniently located on the ground level, as well.

Upstairs, retreat to one of three bedrooms for relaxation. The primary bedroom offers a queen bed and an en suite bathroom complete with a soaking tub and standup rain shower. The secondary bedroom includes a full bed, while the office bedroom features a trundle that can be configured as either one twin or one mini king - please reach out to Portoro prior to arrival to provide preference. A second full bathroom on this level ensures added comfort and privacy - amble space for your entire group to get ready for a day of adventure or night out on the town.

Throughout the home, discover cozy nooks filled with books and greenery, perfect for moments of peace. Outside, an expansive backyard features a charcoal grill, complemented by two propane heaters for warmth when temperatures cool.

Restaurants:

Franklin BBQ: A legendary destination known for its exceptional smoked meats, a must-visit for locals and tourists alike - get in line early, we promise it's worth the wait!
Paperboy: A casual brunch spot with robust coffee and cocktail offerings served up in a comfortable environment that includes two outdoor spaces.
Arbor Food Park: Can't decide on just one thing, you don't have to! One of Austin's best food truck parks is right around the corner offering several of Austin’s tastiest bites such as Cuantos Tacos, Dough Boys pizzas, and fajitas from Comal ATX. Take your pick of vendors and find a seat beneath the shady trees and string lights at one of the many colorful picnic tables.

Bars:
Full Circle Bar: Plenty of beer, cocktails, and skee-ball. That's right, you can let your inner child out while you enjoy a few drinks with friends.

Guest Access:
Portoro uses smart locks. Guests will receive a designated code for their stay 24 hours prior to check in and once the guest agreement is signed and the reservation is fully paid. Guests have access to the entire home and can park in the driveway.

Getting Around:
Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ride sharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere. Downtown Austin, including the University of Texas are 5 minutes from the home, and the airport is just 13 minutes away.

Other Things to Note:
Please pay close attention to following house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- Over occupancy will result in a fine up to $250 per additional head or $2000 if an event is occurring during a guest stay.
- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Portoro directly.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- The home has cameras for external monitoring only.
- This home does not allow pets during your stay. We appreciate your understanding!
- Reservations made during festivals and conferences are nonrefundable.
- Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6 percent and the city requires 11 percent.
- A portion of the city hotel tax helps support musicians and related businesses.

Interaction with Guests:
We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts in advance. If the house happens to be ready earlier than our standard 4 pm check in time on the day of your arrival, we, in most cases will allow an early check in. For a reliable alternative with guaranteed check in or check out timing, it is recommended to book the night before or after your scheduled arrival or departure.
