Our 2 bedroom property for holiday rental, is situated in the heart of Cape Paterson, in a quiet street surrounded by lovely trees and birdlife within five minutes walk to the beach and local shops. We are 3 streets back from entry to the beach, an ideal location to leave your car in our off street driveway, and walk to the beach. Glimpses of the ocean can be seen from the front balcony and main bedroom. The occasional koala has been spotted about, and at night you can hear the waves crashing 500 metres away. The front undercover decking is a lovely spot at night to stargaze and take in the community. The rear garden is fenced in for children and offers an outdoor shower for your return from the beach. Outdoors enjoy a garden BBQ with outdoor furniture supplied. Parking accommodates 2 cars.
Indoors offers a light open planned area of living, kitchen and dining. At the entry to the premises is a small sunroom getaway, a separate space for reading, watching TV or just relaxing. A reverse cycle heating/air-conditioning system keeps inside comfortable. The living area houses comfortable sofa's, coffee table, Smart TV and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully self-contained with all electrical appliances - including an air fryer and coffee pod machine. The six-seater dining table is well suited for the occasional family board game. Bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed (sleeps 2), and wall mounted TV. Bedroom 2 has a bunkbed, with a double at the base and cosy backrest for comfort, whilst the top is a single (sleeps 3). Bedroom 2 can also accommodate your own travel cot.
Indoor Bathroom includes : Separate roomed toilet, separate shower/ vanity.
The best thing you will love about your stay is the casual atmosphere of the place, its location, the cleanliness and the short distance to the beach and café.
Neighbourhood Highlights:
Quite street with a great garden fun for children. Feel like part of the community sitting on the front decking where you will find glimpses of the ocean. It is a short 500 metre walk to the beach, café and Surf Club. The local café and gift shop is a great meeting venue and lovely place to buy gifts and support the locals. Dinner and lunch are only a short stroll away (bookings in advance are advised). Book in for yoga or a massage in the main street, or opt for seasonal yoga on the beach.
Check out the Surf Life Saving Club, with seasonally patrolled beaches. Bay Beach or Surf Beach are both within walking distance! Sitting in the rockpools at Bay Beach is a must, children will love it. The Lifesaving Club seasonally offers coffees and event evenings, where you can view the water from the balcony. Many walking tracks are available for all ages. Enjoy the adjacent Cape View sustainable living precinct with basketball/netball/tennis play areas.
There is a bus service within the street to Wonthaggi- located 10 minutes away. Wonthaggi is a regional shopping precinct, where you can find a hospital with an emergency department should any issues arise.
Located within a short drive on the coastal road to Inverloch, Eagles Nest Rock formations are a must see, where dinosaur bones have previously been found. 12kms of the coastal road offers stops along the way to explore the wonderful scenery where ocean meets landscape.

Apartment Rules:
- on site parties/groups are strictly prohibited.
- Apartments 1 and 2 are not in use at the same time giving you full access to garden and driveway.
- Apartment 1 is a ground floor apartment. Guests of this apartment do not have access to Apartment 2 located on the second level.
- Mobility: outdoor steps x 4 leading up to narrow entry, step x1 inside, single room toilet, single room shower. Access to the property is at the rear of the house via grassed driveway and medium incline, not street front entry level.
-An outdoor backyard power point is available for charging electrical bikes and the like, during daylight hours. Charging of this type of equipment is prohibited inside the apartment.
-Charging of all indoor electrical devices only under supervision.
-Waste disposal-Bass Coast Governing rules dictate a green waste bin, recycle bin, general rubbish bin and instructions for guests supplied.
-There are smoke detectors.
-Electric car charging points not available.
-There is not a carbon monoxide detector as all are electric appliances, no attached garage and no fuel burning appliances inside.
-The property is registered with the local Bass Governing By-Laws and any disturbances and loud noise gives neighbouring premises the right to contact the overseer and your stay will be terminated.
-You will be responsible for any damages caused by guests
-Government issued photo ID and a credit card are required at check in for incidental charges.
-Special requests may not be available and may incur additional charges.
-Pets are not allowed on premises-Whilst we love all animals, family allergy dictates we cannot have animals inside or outside at any time. Any breach of our request will incur additional cleaning costs and notification to our advertiser.
-Parking between the Rock walled part of driveway is prohibited as may cause damage when opening car door. You will be responsible for any such guest damage to any guest vehicle and the cost of repairs, as we have made you aware of this potential hazard. We accept no responsibility for damage to any vehicle moving in or out of the rock walled driveway.
-You will receive Host terms and conditions prior to your arrival as a pre online guest check in, which must be completed prior to your booking.
