About the home
"Pelican Sands" sits above San Remo's fabulous cafes, restaurants & bars. Great dining is available just a few steps away at restaurants such as Mario’s Italian, Kelp, and Spicy Duck, fish n chips at the Fishing Coop and terrific pub meal choices. Not to forget the boutique shops and the local full-sized IGA. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The large open plan Kitchen/Living/Dining room (with smart TV) is a lovely area, stepping out to the large Balcony. Bedroom 1 has its own private Balcony, a BIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet). Bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with built in robes) share the main bathroom (with shower & toilet) and there is a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer).
Outdoor Areas
The main covered Balcony (with electric BBQ and 8-seater table) provides delightful views of San Remo beach and the bridge to Phillip Island. There is also a small private covered Balcony off Bedroom 1. Parking is provided in the underground carpark for two vehicles (if parked in tandem). There are additional parking spaces available in the rear (above-ground) car park.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, Aldi pod coffee machine, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The apartment has a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the living room that heats and cools the entire apartment.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 5 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed and one set of Single bunks
There is also a Double sized sofa bed in the living room, suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
