Nestled deep within the Mosman enclave in exclusive Clifton Gardens, this home benefits from spectacular views across Vaucluse and the Eastern Suburbs from the upper-level bedrooms. However, you don’t need to venture far to find this effervescent locale’s welcoming charm. A must-see Sydney tourist attraction Taronga Zoo is a mere 5-minute walk through the National Park and the direct Ferry to the city is not much further. A family-friendly area, Clifton Gardens has an easy-breezy vibe and plenty of neighbourhood favourites with fabulous playgrounds. The calm waters of Chowder Bay beckon, where a bushy backdrop is countered by a gorgeous harbour side frontage and is steeped in local history to enhance the walk. Sunny days are well spent on a meandering bush walk through adjoining Chowder Head, to the tranquil waters and restaurant scene of Balmoral Beach are another major drawcard, with its sheltered position in the harbour making it ideal for open water swimming and paddleboarding. Mosman also features a lively restaurant and pub scene together with an array of boutique stores for that much needed holiday retail therapy! Most of this action is only a short walk to Military Road – we suggest starting the day with corn fritters at Avenue Road before enjoying a bit of window shopping.

- You can’t stay in Mosman without dropping into Ormeggio at the Spit. The Italian diner is one of the city’s top long lunch spots, it has the kind of waterfront views residents pay tens of millions to enjoy and a casual vibe that can’t be beaten.
