This charming one bedroom cottage, affectionately known as the Blueberry Cottage, is nestled in the Cottage Grove colony in Eastham. It is close to the renowned National Seashore and the historic First Encounter Beach, where the Pilgrims first encountered the Native Americans. The Cape Cod Bay offers calm and warm waters, amazing tidal flats, and breathtaking sunsets. The outer Cape's western coast line is dotted with miles of beautiful beaches and iconic lighthouses. From the cottage, it is just a short ride to Wellfleet Audubon,, shopping, restaurants, walking trails and entertainment. Max occupancy of 2 people, one parking space available. Parking tickets and visitor stickers for Eastham Town beaches and ponds can be purchased upon entrance or secured in advance on line (recommended).

Cottage 1 BR

The place was very clean and well equipped, there is a picnic table in the shared garden. While surrounded by other cottage in a circle, we didn't feel too much the neighbors as there was only a few people staying at the same as us. However, this is a tiny, tiny, tiny house where my 8 yrs old and I stayed. We couldn't even leave a suitcase in the bedroom so I had to keep it in the trunck of the car :( The kitchen and the table are super small. No living room at all. Super close to the 6 W/E 2x2 road (just separated by a few trees). You have to take the car for anything as I wouldn't walk on the tiny sidewalk. While we couldn't hear the road during the night, you hear it during the day. I guess you can stay for 1 or 2 nights but no more. And no linen :(( Way too pricy for what it is.

Lovely tiny cottage

We had a good time staying at the blueberry cottage - had all the amenities that we needed. Would recommend this home. What was poor was the communication between us and the realty company - despite messages left on mobile 24/7 number the night before checking in - no responses. After numerous calls the morning to the day phone number - we were arriving finally received the code to get in. Later in the afternoon did a followup call to the 24/7 number left two messages that were not answered. Communication here needs to be improved or future customers will be very unhappy.
