Die Lone Eagle Lodge befindet sich am Ufer des Buchanan-Sees. Diese charmante Kabine mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad verfügt über ein Loft mit Kingsize-Bett und ein Ausziehbett mit herrlichem Blick auf den See und die private Ranch über das Wasser. Es gibt auch ein privates Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss mit einer großen offenen Küche und einem Wohnbereich, der zu einem 2-stufigen Deck führt, das hinunter zu einem Sandstrand führt. Das Haus befindet sich auf 17 Hektar mit Privatsphäre und viel Platz für Ihren ruhigen Urlaub. Sie werden die Brise des Sees, die Ruhe und die Ruhe der Landschaft genießen und die Tierwelt auf der Ranch über das Wasser beobachten können. Es gibt eine weitere größere Vermietung für größere Gruppen auf dem Grundstück. Das Haus des Eigentümers befindet sich ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück und bietet immer noch viel Platz für die Privatsphäre aller. Diese Eigenschaft ist tierfreundlich und bietet einen Pier, einen Bootsbeleg zum Angeln, Einsteigen in Ihr Boot und zum Sichern Ihres Bootes. Das allmähliche Gefälle des Wassers bietet perfekte Voraussetzungen zum Schwimmen und / oder Ankern Ihres Bootes vor dem Haus. Toller Ort für Kinder, um ihre Fahrräder mitzubringen und in einem geschlossenen Bereich mit asphaltierten Straßen Platz für ihre Fahrräder zu haben. Es gibt auch ein Putting Green für Golfbegeisterte. Sie können Ihr eigenes Boot mitbringen oder einen Bootsverleih in der Nähe arrangieren oder einfach nur ausruhen und entspannen und die Hektik des verrückten Stadtlebens hinter sich lassen.

Great spot!

Sherry and Alan's cabin on the lake is a perfect, peaceful and private getaway. They were awesome hosts and the spot on the lake was perfect. Beds were comfy. Air was cool. And the water was very nice. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Amazing lakefront property!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was such a great place to stay. We found the house to be very quiet and comfortable. You can tell there has been a great attention to detail into setting up the home. The king size bed is so comfy! We are already planning to return on a future trip!

Beautiful functional home on the lake

We had a wonderful time in this home. My kids loved playing and fishing in the lake and roaming the property. Sherri and Allen are amazing hosts who made us feel at home. The house had EVERYTHING we needed except our food. Loved it and plan to return. Great Memorial Day weekend

Great house, the view of the lake was amazing. The house had everything that we needed.

My boys had a wonderful time, we took our small aluminum boat and they went out and set a trotline. Over all they caught 8 channel cat, (over 18 inches), crappie, and a 4 ft gar! Needless to say we had plenty of fish to fry, it was great!! Swimming in the lake was awesome, the water was wonderful, just the right temperature. The house was very cozy, the staircase added character to the house, and the huge windows at the back of the house were great, beautiful view!! We loved it, hope to come back again someday!

Not their fault

My husband and I brought our grandkids, 5, and 7 for a holiday in June. The property itself was clean and reasonably well-appointed. The deck is new. It does have a narrow spiral staircase to the loft which worried me with young children, but they did alright. Also the large windows up in the A frame need a way to keep scorching sun out. Beds were really comfortable and the washer and dryer were nice to have. The kids loved the jacuzzi. Kids also had a blast in the sandy beach. We also were able to hunt for arrowheads with the low water line. The outlook, across to open fields was nice and we enjoyed their horses, to give carrots and apples. We saw a road-runner. The downside of our stay was that the lake was SUPER low due to the drought and the zebra mussels wreaked havoc on our hands and feet while swimming. It was SO low that the entry was narrow and rocks were covered. Creek sneaks are a MUST. We brought a jet ski and kayaks and were able to enjoy the lake. The owner was kind and helpful and we would love to go back with more family renting the house next door (also their rental) when the water was higher. This is clearly not the fault of the owners, but renters need to watch the water levels.

Waterfront bliss

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful and relaxing experience staying at this cozy lake house. The splendour of nature around, waterfront and open sky views were a treat for us and the sand beach is ideal for younger children! We will be back for sure, thank you!

Peaceful and relaxing

Peaceful

We had a great time. The area is kind of secluded so you don’t have all the boat traffic right in front of you. We all had fun swimming and playing in the water. We took our tritoon boat and anchored it right in front of the house. It worked great. Would definitely come stay again.

Fantastic!

We had such a great time at Sherri and Alan’s. The house was perfect for our family of 4. So much room! Our teens loved the loft upstairs. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking, swimming and fish. The house was so well stocked and we loved the hot tea selection.

Cozy cabin on the lake sleeps 6 comfortably.

We chose this because it was close to Inks Lake and Colorado Bend State Park. Our kids loved swimming in lake Buchanan and our hosts were amazing.

Great location and house

Everything was great. The location couldn't be better. The only downside was the floor rugs were filled with sand, dirt and rocks and the pans were not really clean. There was also a dirty cookie sheet in the oven. These things are easily fixed and I wouldn't let that deter anyone from staying there. The owner helped us in with our bags which was very nice. Unlike some places we have stayed the kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook.

Beautiful cabin and views

We had a great time even with all the rain. Sherri and Alan are so nice and very helpful. Our three boys had so much fun fishing and playing on the beach. Will come back again!

Weekend With the Wife and dogs

When we entered the house it was clean and you could smell the cleanliness. My wife gave it a two thumbs up and knowing my wife that is major. Nice music was playing as well when we entered. Very very happy I chose this location. Be ready to enjoy each others company because if you love to be head down in your phone forget it which is what we need. Sherri did tell us that wifi is ify but she has direct TV with plenty of channels. Sherri is very sweet and nice and communicates well to make sure your stay is pleasant. We will definitely be returning in the future....

Outdoor oasis with nice beach

We enjoyed our 2 day stay at this property! We only had 3 of us & our dog, but was able to kayak, grill out, & sit on deck to relax, read, & enjoy view. Sherri checked in on us once arrived which was nice. There is privacy even though another rental house on property next door. We would come back...great kitchen, access to lake, beach, & massive rock structures as enter property entrance which we took walk to & photos!
