Hmm, ich glaube, ich hätte gerne ein wunderschön eingerichtetes, intimes kleines Häuschen für zwei, das sich in der Nähe einiger Wanderwege in einen Bundesstaat oder Nationalpark befindet. Oh, und ich würde gerne hören, wie der Zug leise im Tal pfeift. Wenn möglich würde ich auch gerne ein Lagerfeuer haben, oh, und einen Grill. Und wenn Sie es arrangieren können, würde ich gerne den Hirsch im nahe gelegenen Teich herumtollen sehen. Ich weiß, dass dies eine große Aufgabe ist, aber ich bin zuversichtlich, dass sie irgendwo da draußen ist. Wenn Sie es finden, zeichnen Sie mich bitte ein.

Weekend getaway

Enjoyed a short, relaxing few days away from the busy life of work and stress of everyday activities. Mentone was only a short drive, hiking on property and the coziness of the cabin was just what was needed. Loved how you could write on the bathroom wall and leave your story. Lovely rental

We had a great weekend trip to Pine Mountain. This rental fit our family well, with enough space to spread out but also lovely space to spend time together. We sat on the screened porch both mornings and drank our coffee together. The only downside of this rental was the bathrooms could have been cleaned better. Not a huge deal and I quickly cleaned both bathrooms. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely consider this rental again when we are back in the area.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I booked this property for a quick getaway for our 17th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect little cabin. Very clean and sits on beautiful property. It was very quiet and relaxing. Owners were very attentive and responded to messages quickly.

Great cottage

We really enjoyed staying here. We were looking to get away for a weekend and it fit exactly what we had in mind. It is near some hiking spots and we went to Chattanooga (about an hour away) and explored and did some fun things. We even had a couple super nice dogs that joined us on walks and acted as protectors. All of it was a great stay. Would come back again.

Lovely long weekend getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how cute and spacious the cottage was. The host was excellent – very responsive and communicative, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for us, just a short distance to De Soto Park, yet off the beaten path enough to feel like a true retreat. One of our favorite moments was sitting on the covered porch in the rain and early mornings when it was cool – such a peaceful and relaxing experience. The thoughtful touches, like the abundance of hotel amenities, really made us feel well taken care of. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway.

Perfect Respite

Owners were the best we've ever experienced. They were very thorough with detailed information and quickly responded to every inquiry. The cabin was perfect and was well cared. It is the place to be still and cut out all of "the noise " in our life. We left restored and ready to jump back into life's chaos.

The stay was nice. The cabin was very clean. Staff was very polite. The restaurant (Elevations) was great and the staff was great. Food was delicious. The dogs near the cabin need to be on a chain or leash. Some of the things on our agenda were altered because of the dogs running around, so we could not enjoy it the way we wanted.

Last minute getaway

My husband and I decided to take an impromptu weekend getaway and began looking for the perfect place to stay. As we looked through the many choices in Mentone, we came across Forget Me Knot and instantly fell in love! Bobbie reached out once it was booked and was just as responsive throughout our stay.The cabin was even better than the pictures and offered the most peaceful surroundings. We loved the unique walls in the bathroom where people have signed their names and dates of when they stayed in individual hearts. What an sweet way to memorialize our time together! We highly recommend this beautiful cabin and the amazing hosts to everyone we know! We will definitely be back!

One of a kind!

This place was quite a find! My husband and I found this place while looking for somewhere to stay for a wedding. It was perfect for a weekend trip! Bobbie was an awesome host and kept great communication with us. The cottage is cozy, well maintained and beautiful! It felt like staying inside a doll house. Very charming and decorated to the tee. The nature was stunning, and we enjoyed the wonderful views from the windows and porch. We enjoyed cuddling up on the big leather couch and watching a movie on our last night. We were certainly sad to go, but happy that we got to experience this wonderful cottage.
