Stay in Torquay, it’s fantastic!
We stayed in this property for one month. The location is excellent situated in a quiet Court and only a few minutes from a dog friendly beach and the golf club and amenities at the end of the road.
The property is laid out well for a family or friends with the master bedroom and a small bedroom downstairs with the living and kitchen opening onto the garden and barbecue area. Two further bedrooms , bathroom and sitting room upstairs.
The house is tired and needs a good spring clean and paint. The furniture needs updating, particularly the dining table and chairs which had bits of timber peeling off. The garden was overgrown and needed a tidy up.
In winter it was cold downstairs even with the gas heater on most of the time. There is no aircon downstairs, only upstairs.
We discovered that the wifi was not working including Netflix etc but the host was very proactive getting that sorted. There is a Smart tv so you can log onto Foxtel etc.
If you are travelling with a car please note, that even though the garage is available to use, you don’t get a fob to automatically open the garage door which is very frustrating - you will,have to unlock the front door, go through the house to the garage, press the button and then drive the car into the garage. No fun on a wet, cold winters day.
