Welcome to Magic's Rest! This two level cabin in the Riverbend at Lake Lure community is located behind the main community gate and it offers all the comforts of home. A welcoming covered porch with rocking chairs welcomes you and invites you to relax and enjoy your time away from the everyday. The home opens up to an open living, dining, and kitchen space, which makes it great for spending time together with loved ones while cooking, eating or watching TV. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and let's not forget the regular drip coffee maker. The main level bedroom is down the hall from the kitchen and offers a Queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom. A half bath and the laundry room are located behind the kitchen and across from the bedroom. The stairs take you upstairs to a comfortably furnished loft space where you can simply hang out, read a book or watch TV if you prefer. The second bedroom is located off the loft and has a Queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is a propane gas grill on the back covered porch/deck with outdoor seating so you can enjoy grilling and spending time outdoors regardless if the weather cooperates with your plans. A small fire pit is located in the backyard for making s'mores and sitting around the fire (please bring your camping chairs for around the fire pit). A picnic table is also available in the backyard for enjoying meals outside. As a guest of Magic's Rest, you can enjoy the Riverbend community amenities, which include access to the community beach area on Mirror Lake, Swimming hole on the river, Nature Walk, and the community pavilion. Bring your kayaks, canoes, tubes or paddle boards and explore the lake (no motor boats are allowed on Mirror Lake). Enjoy fishing or hiking in the community or along the Nature Walk near the river. Come stay at the Magic's Rest cabin and enjoy a great vacation!
PLEASE NOTE:
** This home allows up to 2 dogs with an additional pet fee. Pet Addendum must be signed.
** The roads in the Riverbend community are packed gravel. 4WD vehicles are not necessary but are recommended to our guests who are not comfortable navigating mountain roads.
** A damage waiver fee of $59 will be added to the total of your stay to protect you from any accidental damages. Please note that any damages over $1500 and any and all non-accidental damages will be the responsibility of the guest.
