St. Andrews Commons is located on the right after you enter Palmetto Dunes Resort. Complex amenities include an on-site community pool with a large sundeck and pavilion area. This complex overlooks the award winning George Fazio Golf Course. Our spacious 2 bedroom villa with deck overlooking the beautifully maintained landscaped area is close to 3 championship golf courses, a world-class tennis center, water sports, shopping, restaurants, etc. Enjoy the conveniences of our incredible neighborhood located directly across the street from Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina and just a bike ride down from Palmetto Dunes Beach Access!

Our 1177 Sq ft villa features an updated two-story floor plan with a main-floor primary suite. The private balcony provides a tranquil place to read or enjoy your morning coffee or an evening libation.
The spacious king-sized primary bedroom on the main floor has an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo, a walk-out to the balcony, and a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi throughout the residence and cable channels are included. The guest bedroom up the spiral staircase has a Queen-sized bed and a Twin trundle day bed with an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub.
The comfy sunken living room provides a Queen-sized sofa sleeper and flat screen TV with with plenty of seating for the entire family. The full-size dining table seats 6 comfortably off of the living room. There is a small work space off of the living room under the spiral staircase. The walk-out to the private balcony is off of the living area. The deck features outdoor seating for 4. The kitchen has everything you need! The kitchen and eat-in bar with stainless steel appliances are fully stocked with cookware & dishware needed to enjoy your time away from home. If your plans do not include cooking, a variety of restaurants are just outside your front door to please every appetite. Major retailers and grocery stores are in close proximity to the villa for more extensive shopping needs. There is a full size washer and dryer next to the entryway for your laundry needs.
The gorgeous villa is just steps through the parking lot to the community pool and sundeck. The outdoor pool is open Aprl 1st-October 31st from sunrise to sunset. The sundeck overlooking the lagoon is open year-round.
Within Palmetto Dunes you will also find Beach Access Boardwalk and parking, three championship golf courses, including the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, as well as a world-class tennis and pickleball center. The tennis center is rated #1 in the Carolinas by Tennis World and in the top 25 in the world by Tennis Resorts Online. Several courts are lighted for nighttime enjoyment. Camps and lessons are offered for those who wish to learn or improve their skills.
OUR WELCOME BOOK WILL PROVIDE MORE LOCAL ATTRACTIONS & INFO. We keep local menu guides and magazines in our villa to navigate through the many restaurants and attractions Hilton Head has to offer.
Parking Pass information: Two parking passes are included with your reservation. A non-refundable processing fee is applied to all reservations.
The Dunes Buggy service dates are March 13- March 31: 10AM-8PM and April 1- Labor Day: 8AM-9PM.
This private residence is also located near virtually endless recreational and entertainment possibilities for those who wish to enjoy all that Hilton Head Island has to offer: fishing and crabbing excursions, water sports (e.g., skiing, sailing, paddle boarding, and surfing), helicopter tours, zip-lining, professionally guided nature tours, dolphin cruises, shopping, restaurants, and more. It’s easy to see why Hilton Head Island is a premier destination for guests from all over the world.

From April - October, call for Palmetto Dune's free transportation, the Dunes Buggy, from your home or villa to the beach, restaurants, the General Store, or Shelter Cove and enjoy all the amenities that Palmetto Dunes has for you! Enjoy easy days relaxing in the sun, sand, and surf on some of the best beaches in the country. Experience and explore all that Hilton Head Island has to offer.
Guest Access:
Key code access will be provided in the days prior to your arrival for seamless check-in. Two parking passes are included in your rental rate. If you will need additional passes for your vehicles, you will need to pay $30.00 per pass and request all passes through host. Parking pass must be displayed in vehicle throughout your stay in Palmetto Dunes.
The Neighborhood:
Explore Palmetto Dunes Resort on 50 miles of protected trails for walking, jogging, or biking. Kayak or canoe your way around the calm 11-mile saltwater lagoon. Bikes, kayaks, beach and sporting equipment can be easily rented locally. The Dunes Buggy is a complimentary seasonal shuttle service (subject to resort availability) for those who prefer to catch a ride to destinations within Palmetto Dunes & Shelter Cove Marina.
Getting Around:
The villa is located in the beautiful Palmetto Dunes/Villamare Resort. Easy bike ride or walk to the beach. The resort has miles of bike paths, sidewalks and lagoon access for kayaking! The mid-island location is close to restaurants, shopping and the beach by vehicle or The Dunes Buggy shuttle service seasonally.
Other Things to Note:
No Smoking. No Pets. No Parties. Please enjoy yourself and treat our home like you would treat your own. Do not take furniture out of the home or move it from one room or to another. NO RV's, sprinter vans or shuttles. No motorcycles or trailers are allowed on the property. Bikes must be secured. Only Villamare parking passes are permitted in Villamare parking lot. Other vehicles with passes from different complexes are subject to a citation or tow.
Bugs
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.
According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”
If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we'll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!
Please don't worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You'll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it's not unusual to see some and it doesn't mean the home isn't well looked after!
