About the home
“Old Sea Dog's Retreat” is an older style single-storey family & pet friendly home in Coronet Bay just a short walk from the beach and Coronet Bay general store, or a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Grantville & San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The central Dining/Living Room (with smart TV, DVD player, Soundbar & wood heater) leads to the Kitchen, Bedrooms 2 & 3 (each with BIR) and the fully equipped Laundry (with combined washing machine & clothes dryer). a short Hall leads to Bedroom 1 (with BIR), Bathroom (with shower) and a separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
There is a Single Garage (with Gas BBQ, 4 outdoor chairs, various outdoor games/balls for the kids) that provides space for 1 car with another two vehicles (cars and/or a small boat) able to be parked in the driveway. The fully enclosed yard is perfect for children and pets (pets to remain off beds) and has a table & chairs to enjoy the garden. The Fred Gration Reserve is 300m away with open spaces - perfect for children and pets.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the Living/Dining room, ceiling fans in all three Bedrooms and the Living Room, plus a fireplace in the Living Room (some wood provided to get you started).
Bedding Configuration
This home has 3 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 8 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed
There is also a Queen Sofa bed in the Living Room, suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
