Sugar Grove Retreat - Hot Tub - Hocking Hills!
Perfect for a family, ladies getaway, crafters, anniversary, honeymooners or couple's retreat, this home has plenty of space made for relaxation and comfort and room for everyone! It's an amazing home surrounded by beautiful pine trees for privacy. It is just 20 minutes to the entire Hocking Hills region, state parks, nature preserves and more!
MAIN LEVEL: The main floor offers a large & open living room and dining room with 55” smart tv and an open kitchen with all you'll need for meal prep including a pantry and well-equipped keurig coffee machine. A sitting area in the kitchen is the perfect spot for a cup of coffee or tea looking out into the woods and the back deck. There is a stone fireplace in the living room. This indoor fireplace however is not to be used by guests. There is a full bathroom also on this level that features a tub/shower combination, along with 2 bedrooms with queen beds and closets.
LOWER LEVEL: Downstairs, you will find a bar and TV area, along with a pool table. Here you can go outside to the stone patio and enjoy the hot tub and firepit area. Also downstairs is the laundry room, a full bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen bed and closet.
UPPER LEVEL: The upper level of our cabin features a master bedroom (bedroom 1) with king size bed and closet. This bedroom has it's own private bathroom attached to it that has an amazing tile shower. In the loft area at the top of the staircase there is also a twin bed.
Patio & Outdoor Areas: There is a beautiful stone patio that can be accessed from the lower level of the home. This is where you can find the hot tub, firepit, and seating for the firepit. On the main level of the home, there is a patio on both the front porch and out back that can be accessed from the kitchen.
Over 1 acre of privacy in the woods with an entire cabin to yourself and hardly another home in sight! You'll be close to Hocking Hills, hiking, fishing, canoeing, shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, convenient to Rt 33 and situated between Lancaster and Logan. This location is just about 40 minutes to Athens and Ohio University too so a great place to visit your college kids.
TERRAIN: Feel free to take in the natural surroundings of the home including the beautiful and mature oak trees, rock outcroppings and unique nature of this property. Keep your safety in mind at all times. It's also the outdoors so there will be bugs, ticks, poison ivy and all that comes with great mother nature.
PARKING: Private driveway (4-6 vehicles max).
Garage: There is a large garage that is not attached to the house that you may use at your leisure for parking, storage, etc.
There is a Pack N' Play at the home for guests to use.
**High Chair can be requested as well and rented as noted for $30 for stay. This is not at the unit so will need to give us 24 hour heads up**
You can access the home anytime after 4 PM by using the Keyless Keypad to enter with your unique code that is sent 3 days prior to arrival. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community.
For early checkin or late checkout, please understand there is a $10 per hour cost as long as there is not a same day check in or check-out. For late check-out we asked that this is communicated the night before 9 pm in order to respectively communicate to our housekeepers. If not, there is a $ 40-hour charge the next day if there is not a check-in. This MUST be approved by the Host.
The cabin is located in Sugar Grove in the Hocking Hills area of Ohio. This area is known for great hiking and lots of outdoor activities. Drive along the scenic roads of Hocking County to your destination. The popular hikes including Old Man's cave and Cantwell Cliffs are under 30 minutes away.

There is a driveway that can allow for up to 4 vehicles as needed for your group, and the garage can also fit up to 2 vehicles. We do ask that you not park anywhere else on the property, other than on the driveway or in the garage.
There is no public transportation in the area, but depending on the time of year, uber may be available.
In harsh winter weather conditions, we recommend 4WD or AWD.
1. NO Parties. Our properties are all residential, so we ask that you please respect the property as if it was your own home. ONLY registered guests are permitted inside the property. Parties and loud noises are strictly prohibited. Violation of our no-party rule will result in a $1000 collection and immediate cancellation of your stay, and police may be contacted and act on our behalf. We take this very seriously in order to protect our partner's assets and the city laws.
2. NO Smoking in or around our properties. All of our units are non-smoking. This includes the use of cigarettes, marijuana, and/or vaping. If you wish to smoke we ask you to take it outside. ANY VIOLATION of this rule will result in a $200 fine or collection if necessary. This includes any evidence of tampering with the smoke detectors which may be monitored remotely.
3. NO music video recordings at all!
4. Keep in mind quiet hours to respect each and every one's stay around you. Quiet hours during the week are 10 pm to 7 am. On the weekend quiet hours are 11 pm to 6 am. Please understand breakage of these rules is immediate cancellation of your stay and will be asked to vacate the property immediately.
5. WIFI:
Our properties are equipped with free high-speed internet. The network name and password will be sent to you a few hours prior to check-in. Please refrain from any illegal downloads as it's a federal offense here in the US.
6. HOUSEKEEPING:
We provide linens, towels, poggesi soaps (shampoo, conditioner, & soap), makeup wipes, ground coffee or k-cups, salt and pepper, cooking oil, toilet paper, and paper towels, hand soap, kitchen soap, dish detergent pods inside the unit for you. If there is a washer and dryer offered inside the property then we provide laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets.
If you have arrived and something is missing, please alert us immediately so that we can make sure to send someone over with the replacement as soon as possible. If you are in a unit where an air mattress is available and have spoken with our team about using it, the extra pillow and sheets are in the closets. We do not provide daily housekeeping or laundry service during your stay unless requested for long-term stays.
7. SURVEILLANCE:
Our properties are monitored by EXTERIOR security cameras. These are used for the security of you, your guests, and others around you. Please refrain from any illegal activity on or around the premises.
8. CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM:
Our Customer Service Team is available Monday through Sunday 24/7, but understand they work outside of the US so we ask to understand time differences and or connection issues every now and then. Keep in mind our team is always here for you to ensure you have a 5-star experience. Please do not call or text the number provided through the channel you booked as it will go to voicemail. Please communicate through here unless there is a maintenance emergency
9. MAINTENANCE & PROPERTY MANAGER:
Business hours for our on-the-ground team and maintenance work from 8 am to 5 pm. Our maintenance team is on call though after hours when needed and available. Please note if they DO NOT answer then they are handling another job for a guest and to text them your first/last name, property address, and concern. If there is a life-threatening or medical emergency please call 911 immediately.
