Dieses großartige historische Haus eignet sich für Kurzaufenthalte, Urlaube, Firmenaufenthalte und Familientreffen. Es wurde 1846 erbaut und seine architektonischen Elemente wurden wunderschön erhalten. Die 5 Schlafzimmer und 3 Wohnzimmer (mit Sky TV – alle Sportkanäle), 2 Küchen, das Arbeitszimmer (mit ADSL und drahtloser Breitbandverbindung) und 4 Badezimmer/Duschen/WCs sind über 4 Etagen verteilt und es gibt einen Balkon, Terrasse, Patio-Garten und privaten Zugang zum nahegelegenen Platz. Es gibt 2 Einzel- und 4 Queensizebetten. Das Arbeitszimmer hat Fenster auf allen Seiten, das Haus ist sehr hell und hat prachtvoll verzierte Decken in allen Haupträumen. Es ist außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet: Waschmaschine, Mikrowellen, DVDs, Geschirrspüler, Haartrockner, Radios, Sound-Systeme, Bettwäsche, Handtücher, tolle Duschen, bequeme Betten.

Charming London Neighborhood - Great Location

We stayed in the house for a week in London with our family - it was our kids first time in London. The house is in a great location with easy transportation anywhere in London using the Underground. We used both the Victoria and Pimlico stations. We felt very welcome to the local community with great local shopping, restaurant's, and even the local pub across the street Cask. We made some new friends - the owner of Cask across the street gave us some pint glasses that we could take back to Nashville. Adrienne was great to work with on our VRBO - great communication, house and neighborhood was very clean, safe, and the home has a lot of great details. We loved the "green room" upstairs with couches and reading area. We read the book with the amazing history of the house. We will be back to London and will stay here again - thank you!

First stay, but hopefully not our last…

We had a great visit to see our son who is studying abroad for the semester. This house was a great home away from home! Perfect location; close to the tube station, easy for Ubers, multiple places to eat within a block or 2, Tachbrook Bakery for breakfast, grab some snacks next door & off to see the sights for the day. The house was clean & comfortable, nice beds, everything we needed in the kitchen & loved having the spacious sitting room so we could all gather together after a long day. The Hosts provided so many little things that really added to our stay; extra chargers, hairdryers, guide books & a welcome basket with treats. The books with ideas on what to do/where to eat were helpful & well thought out. We really appreciated the love attention that has obviously been put into this home & are thankful we got to share it.

A good time for all

We have just spent seven delightful days at 112 Tachbrook Street. There were 10 of us. The house was perfect us. There are two spaces where we gathered and quiet spaces for each of us also. I made arrangements for the house over a year ahead of time and it was worth the wait. Adrienne, our host, was kind, gracious and knowledgeable. The neighborhood was a well located and welcoming respite from the hustle and bustle of a busy holiday season in London. I recommend the property to everyone. Joy McHaffie

Thanksgiving in London

My oldest daughter is doing semester abroad so we brought our entire family, including in laws, for a 10 day stay. This home served as an ideal "home base" for us to see sites, dine, tour the city and more. We wouldn't trade a single thing about the overall experience, and the home was the centerpoint.

Beyond Expectations!

So much to say! This charming property is absolute perfection! If possible, it was even better than the pictures portrayed. Our group of 12 stayed for a week in this gorgeous property! It was spotless, fresh and welcoming when we arrived It easily accommodated our group with plenty of space to gather and/or find a quiet place alone. It was well appointed with all amenities you may need during your stay. Detailed instructions with “how to’s” were thoughtfully placed in each room of the home. Travel during our stay was incredibly easy as the Tube is only two blocks away. For closer stays, many restaurants, pubs and shopping were only steps away. It truly became our home for the week- our comfort and refuge after each long day of activities. It helped us create so many loving lasting memories. Adrienne, the property owner, is so very kind. She is thoughtful and most importantly so incredibly responsive. We feel so lucky to have been able to stay at this lovely home and cannot wait to return one day.

Wonderful home in the perfect location

We had the best stay ever in this perfect family home! The house is clean and charming, and she left the most wonderful amenities and little treats for us! We had 4 little kids (ages 6, 8, 10, and 12) and 2 grandmas with us, and everyone was so happy! Our little girl loved the dollhouse, our little dude loves the night sky light, and our older kids had the best office to do homework and play music on the Alexa. The location for a sightseeing visit couldn’t be better. It’s a wide, quiet street with a grocery store, a lovely coffee shop and many amazing pubs, so you never have to worry about feeding the kids! The house is right down the street from a great tube station, is a quick walk to Westminster, and had Ubers everywhere 2 minutes away. This is the perfect home for your London trip with the family!

Quiet neighborhood. Lots of food shops, market and cafes nearby. Two minute walk to underground. Apartments here are narrow and tall. Lots of stairs. Nice garden area at lower level. European Vacation

The house was wonderful. This house was very well maintained and equipped like your own home. I have stayed in many VRBO homes but this one had everything we needed. Lots of big towels, toilet paper, Kleenex and a welcome basket with butter, bread, pasta, sauce, coffee, tea and other basics. The owner responded immediately when I had any questions! Quaint House Perfect for Large Group

Adrienne and Carole took great care of us to make sure we had all the information we needed about the house. The home itself was well equipped and perfect for our group. Awesome visit

Our family of 9 adults found the property to be perfect as accommodations for gathering, dining, and sleeping. The location was exceptional for both walking and taking the underground. It is an easy walk to Harrods, for example, as well as to the Tate London, Parliament and many other desirable locations. The Pimlico tube stop is a 3 or 4 minute walk and ideally located on the Victoria line. Everyone enjoyed this home, and we'll be back!

Wedding week

What a gift this stay was! The property manager and owner were incredible - quick to respond, lots of information and so accommodating. We were greeted with fresh flowers for the bride and groom with a lovely card; a basket of staples including bread, wine, pasta with milk and butter in the refrigerator. Five sets of keys; everything we needed for the 1 year old; a grocery trolley; a full-on espresso machine... It was absolutely the perfect setting for this US family of 8 adults traveling across the pond to watch our son marry a beautiful Englishwoman. We give this entire stay 6 stars - they get the extra star because your cleaning fee actually goes to cleaning. We didn't have to do a thing except remove our trash! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Liked but can't say I loved

The communication with the property manager was quick and super friendly. The location of the property was awesome. The complaints come in moderate areas. - The house isn't as big as you might think when you see it online - The word 'luxury' might be a bit overstatement. It's charming in a english way but it's not luxurious. - The hot water was broken in the basement. My 70 yr old mom sponge bathed for a day before she finally complained and told me. It was fixed soon but we did have hot water issues. - The main room upstairs was just really hot. They want you to open a window for fresh air but the problem with that is you then can't sleep in the morning bc of the cars, people, and birds. So we ended up quite uncomfortable every night with how hot it was. - It was a bit creaky so if anyone is up or moving, you'll hear them. Again, it's a nice place. Great location. Property managers were communicative but I just think it's overpriced and over sold as to its 'luxury' status. I'd give it a 3 stars out of 5.

Great time - house worked great! Hosts very responsive!! Only advice is that one bedroom has a Murphy bed and the other a day bed.. we probably should have read more closely - it worked fine but we were a little surprised. Very clean - great kitchen! Highly recommend for a big group

Perfect House for our Family

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of nine, which included six adults and our three grandchildren, ages 7 to 10. The 170-year-old house was in immaculate condition. Our family enjoyed gathering at the large kitchen table and also in the beautifully decorated family room. The location of the home is excellent. We either walked or took the nearby Tube for our sight-seeing adventures and dinner at restaurants. A daily walk to Pret for “take away” morning coffee and pastries was part of our routine. Adrienne, the host, always replied promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this house if you plan to visit London.

Perfect stay in London

Our stay in London at this 7 bedroom luxury home was PERFECT for my family of 9!! The home was very spacious and clean upon arrival. The hosts Adrienne and Carole were exceptional from the time of booking up to check out. They set up an extra payment arrangement as requested, allowed us to enter the property as soon as we arrived in London (hours before check in), and they were super helpful and very hospitable. The home was within a short walking distance to the train station making it super convenient to get to all the nearby attractions. There were also nearby restaurants and bodegas as well. My entire family enjoyed their stay here in Westminster (age range 21-73). Our favorite times included sitting at the kitchen table at night and recapping all the things we did during that day while out and about. I highly recommend this location next time you are in London!! Good times and great memories that we will forever cherish. Thanks again Adrienne and Carole!!

Fulfilling a dream

We've wanted to take our young grandchildren to see the land of our roots, and this home was the perfect place for us to come together. Adrienne made this our best VRBO experience ever with her informative tips and directions, ongoing communications and responsiveness. The location couldn't be better for getting around London and the neighborhood pubs, markets, etc. made it easy and convenient to get whatever we needed. Cannot recommend this property highly enough !!

The house was wonderfully located in a quiet safe neighborhood with lots of local restaurants and convenient to the underground. Adrienne, the owner, was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Perfect house for our large family week in London

We have been gathering every summer for many years, in many different locations, beach, country and city. We rarely have enough bedrooms and this house fit us perfectly. There are enough modern bathrooms for a large crowd, and the kitchen is well fitted with appliances and even an espresso machine. We loved the little patio outside the kitchen for breakfast. The location in central London is ideal. The house is close to the tube station and buses, and a fairly easy walk into town for the younger members. We found some excellent pubs and restaurants close by, and enjoyed the food trucks. There is also a wonderful bakery round the corner.

We are a couple who have worked mainly in the theatre and the arts, although Adrienne is now a writer/researcher specialising in fatherhood and Martin coaches in communications.

We purchased our central London home in 1985 and lived there until 2008. The moment we opened the door we loved it. It felt then, and feels now, as if only happy things have happened here - which can't possibly be true, since it's more than 170 years since it was built! We wanted to live right in the heart of London, and you can't get much closer to the heart than this. We also wanted a characterful house, with high ceilings, classic original features and a sense of generations upon generations having lived there before us. And that is exactly what we got! We raised our family here, working from home, so the house has always been busy and full of children. When we downshifted to another part of London, we rejoiced that we didn't have to sell it, and that other people could now enjoy it too.

The remarkable thing about 'Pimlico' (the area of the London Borough of Westminster in which our house is situated), is that it is quite like a village, and yet it is right in the heart of perhaps the greatest city in the world. Neighbours know and look out for each other; our street contains many family houses and has an active residents' association, the shop-keepers know us and are friendly, and yet the district is at the same time both cosmopolitan and fast-paced. In Pimlico you can live peacefully, yet never feel that life is passing you by.
