Dieses denkmalgeschützte Haus liegt in der Nähe von allem in Kansas City. Die Plaza 5 Minuten, Westport 4 Minuten, Power and Light 6 Minuten, Autobahnanschluss 3 Minuten. Das Haus befindet sich in Midtown KC im historischen Viertel Hyde Park und wurde 1911 vom Polizeichef John B. erbaut. Hayes während der Pendergast-Ära. Das Haus wurde von 2010 bis 2016 komplett restauriert und im Kansas City Home & Garden and Ink Magazine vorgestellt. Diese Auflistung gilt für die erste und zweite Etage. Die dritte Etage ist eine separate Einheit, die über die hintere Veranda zugänglich ist. Beide Einheiten sind gelistet und können angemietet werden.

Beautiful home but strange neighborhood

It’s a beautiful home. It was lacking some items (wash clothes, dish washing clothes, tv information). Close by neighborhoods not the best but we knew that. We had a little trouble with back door lock. Overall tho we enjoyed our stay

Great place, plenty of room!

My family was in town for my son's wedding and we all stayed at the mansion. It is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained property with plenty of room for the family to sleep, gather, and be together. We even had enough room for extended family to join us for dinner. It is a short distance to just about everything, including The Pilgrim Chapel, where the wedding was held. We will definitely be returning the next time our family is in KC!

Wonderful Home with Rich History

The home was large, with spacious rooms, and plenty of space for our family of five to separate and come together as desired. Super close and convenient to many downtown locations. We came for the Legoland facility and it was perfect. Tons of history and charm in this home— my kids loved it, and my husband and I loved the opportunity to read more in the info included in the home. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Place to Stay

We picked this house because of its unique historical features and it was close to our daughter’s wedding venue. It was my husband and I, our 2 daughters and husbands, 3 toddlers and infant. The beds were very comfy, bathrooms and showers were awesome, and lots of play room downstairs. I would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect for whole family

We were in town for a wedding so it made sense to book this spacious house for 7 of us plus 2 dogs. It was close to the venue, so a great place to hangout in between wedding activities. The home is beautiful - well kept, clean, historic home with neat features like beautiful woodwork and a butlers pantry. The kitchen provided everything we needed for making breakfasts and the bedrooms were comfortable. Our communication with the host was good and the one request we made was filled quickly. The floors are creaky, but that comes with being a historic home and my family likes to use sound machines for sleeping anyway. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe the whole time. Definitely recommend!

Bunch of girls getting ready for a friends wedding

Me and a bunch of girls had a blast getting ready/staying here! Everyone was floored at how beautiful the Hyde park mansion was! It was clean, lots of space, great lighting for makeup and plenty of space for people to hang and sleep! Only thing Id say we were bummed about was not finding sheets/blankets for the pull out couch. So just make sure to ask for sheets/blankets or bring some just in case! To the host, thank you got letting us use your beautiful home! Would 12/10 recommend to other people! Thank you!

Hyde Park-family reunion

It was a great stay with family. There was another party staying upstairs that I didn't realize were going to be there. Being an older home the squeaking of floor joints were very noisy. I thought I had rented the whole home and the parking was tight. If you approach the home from a certain direction, it is dicey. This seems to be an area that is re vamping it's image, but a few blocks over can put you in the wrong part of town. Please put some tea towels in the kitchen- we could not find any, only paper towels. I needed to dry dishes with. we enjoyed the dining area but may we suggest a bit brighter lighting.

Great location

There were a few dusty spots and cobwebs, but overall pretty clean. Biggest complaint was that every time we went into the basement to do laundry we saw 1-2 roaches. The host immediately sprayed as soon as we Told him, but those are tricky buggers to get rid of. told

A Wonderful Trip

This is the second time that we've rented this house in KC and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The house is extremely comfortable -- there is lots of space, the decor is beautiful, and the owner responsive. The owner has transformed one of the rooms into a Taylor Swift room, much to my daughter's delight! We had a minor issue with some water leakage from the air conditioner unit on the 3rd floor (a separate unit) and the owner responded immediately. If we are back in KC, we will definitely rent this house again!

Nice house, good stay

Everything was clean and comfortable, nice arrangement of bedrooms and bathrooms. One thing I would note here: the floors are creaky (old house) and when there is a rental in the unit above, you will know when they are up and about. Not a big deal unless they are early birds.

Historic home with natural beauty

I grew up in Kansas City, so I appreciate a myriad of neighborhoods downtown- with all their guts and glory. You’re close to everything here. The Nelson- Atkins, Westport, Crossroads, The Plaza, Brookside, ect. I had a good parking spot, and street parking is also easily accessible and spacious. This neighborhood is in a city center- so common sense matters. This house was absolutely lovely, and as a host myself I felt it met our basic needs. Anything above and beyond, I bring with me. I don’t really understand the negative reviews, it had all the necessary components for our small group. The host is very clear about his house rules and they aren’t difficult by any means. Our youngest daughter was coming home from a semester studying abroad in Ireland, & this place provided a great locale and eclectic vibe for our family and her friends to reunite. Andrew was down to earth and nice. Much appreciated. We would stay again. It’s a cool place, and it made me miss hometown KC.

Fascinating historic property/neighborhood

Such an interesting mansion house with an extra stairway for the maids, etc. great oak woodwork. Great location, close to the art museum. It was rather musty and the lighting was poor, difficult to cook for a large group in the odd kitchen.

Great host, lots of room

We had a girls weekend here and was perfect! The house temperature settings were a little cool wish we could have adjusted our own heat! Nice big size rooms, the host was amazing and very accommodating!
