Nothing fancy but it was comfortable

The beds are comfy and there's plenty of space. The hot tub was heavenly and the house is conveniently located, but is oddly located between hotels. Could have been cleaner. Overall it was good.

Good time

The location was great. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub wasn't clean, however the property manager came out to take care of it. There is one bedroom that really smells musty even though they have an air purifier in it. TV worked great, fireplace made it cozy and nice.

Old house fixed up. Uneven floors, Smelly stuff plugged in wall. Not good for fragrance sensitive people. Tp and towel bars falling off the wall. Hit my head on the cabinet corner sticking out in the bathroom. Shelf in island kept falling down. Dining table too big for the room.

Cozy and Comfortable

My own family of six stayed here with my mom, sister and her husband and their two dogs for a few rainy days, and our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The house accommodated all of us very comfortably and it was pleasant even staying in, playing games, cooking and spending time together. The location has great access to the beach and the town. Our property manager was easy to contact and helped with any issues we had. We'd love to stay here again!

Family vacation fun!

We chose this property because of the proximity to the beach and shopping. It was big enough for my large family. The kids loved the basketball hoop in the driveway. Unfortunately there was a musty smell throughout the house. The drawers in the kitchen were stiff and very squeaky. The knives we dull so even cutting tomatoes was like sawing wood. The grill was so dirty we bought a cheap scrub brush just to clean it so we could grill. This home fell short of our expectations.

Ocean shores disappointment

The property did have 4 bedrooms, a deck and hot tub. But everything fell short. The bedrooms were all musty, the floors all uneven which made huge gaps at top or bottom of doors. All the throw pillows on the couch were dingy and the bedding we were not sure if it had been washed. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Musty and old

I just stayed at this property in ocean shores. I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the home. The back bedroom has so much moisture it smells horrible. So much so our guests could not stay in there. The hot tub water was bright green and unusable. The decor was old and dirty including holes in the furniture. Lastly, as a dog friendly property it would be helpful to warn the guests of the plant with goat heads growing all over the front lawn producing painful stickers in my kids and dogs feet. I’d suggest a very thorough cleaning of the whole property before renting as well as fixing the above issues.

Great logistics annoying shortfalls

We booked this property because it was dog friendly, had enough beds and space and a good layout for our reactive dog The cable did not work on 2 of 3 tvs. I messaged with the property manager on this but it wasn’t resolved. There was an unpleasant smell in two of the bedrooms. We ended i up p buying candles and room spray for that. The kitchen had a few things too. The oven was too dirty to use and the dishes were wet. We had to clean them to feel safe using them. And the keurig didn’t work either. It was a nice time with family but we probably won’t select this property again.

The house is poorly maintained and not enough supplies were provided for our booking.

We were a party of 12 and booked this property for 6 nights. It seemed that the managers did not pay attention to this because when we arrived there were not enough towels and the sofa bed had no sheets or blankets. There was not enough dishwasher soap or garbage bags or toilet paper for 12 people for a week, and we had to argue with the contact to get more. Can you believe having to argue over getting a handful of extra toilet paper rolls?The coffee pot carafe does not fit the coffemaker, the only way we could get it to work without spilling all over was to wedge spoons under it. Half of the toaster did not work. One of the toilets ran constantly. All of the closets were locked, and there were not enough hangers for the few spaces that could be used. The furniture is worn and the house is poorly maintained. We repeatedly tried to contact the local host - no one responded over the weekend (our first day was a Saturday). When we finally reached her she said she would pass on the message to the owner but we only received more supplies three days into our trip. The local contact said they were only there to drop stuff off. None of the faulty appliances got fixed. We paid a lot of money for this property and are very displeased. We only give it a second star because eventually we did get more supplies.The good things I can say - the house is in a good location. The hot tub was clean, and the dishwasher worked fine (once we were given enough soap).
