Set on a quiet street surrounded by lush, native greenery—Stroll to the Sea is a welcoming family home, offering unparalleled tranquillity just 12-minutes by foot from Rye’s back beach. Sun-drenched open living is framed by wall-to-wall windows that extends to an oversized deck set for alfresco dining and a private garden where you can cosy up around the fire pit under the stars. Two bathrooms, ducted heating throughout and split-system cooling in the living area add to your convenience.
Stroll to the Sea immediately evokes a sense of coastal calm as soon as you arrive, surrounded by native bushland and a mere walk through the dunes from Rye’s stunning back beach. Drive your car into the shaded carport and begin to unwind.
This family home offers ample outdoor space to soak up the beachside vibe, with a spacious deck equipped for backyard barbecues and alfresco dining. A fully-fenced yard is great for pets and kids, while a hammock beckons you to snuggle up with your favourite book in shaded comfort before lighting up the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. The hub of the home centres around the kitchen, living and dining areas—with high ceilings, timber floors and large wall-to-wall windows drenching the space in natural light. The large modern kitchen is fully-stocked with modern appliances, ample bench space, a breakfast bar with stools and some basic cooking supplies to get you started. Dine inside or out, before retiring to the comfortable leather lounges for movie nights at home with the family.
Three carpeted bedrooms all offer plenty of space, plus ample wardrobe spaces and side tables with lamps for some light reading before bed. The primary bedroom is set with a ceiling fan and queen bed fronting a wall-hung TV and attaches to an ensuite where you can freshen up after a day at the beach with a quick shower. The second bedroom is set with a double under a ceiling fan, while the third bedroom is perfect for both adults and children—offering two sets of single bunks. The family bathroom has a bathtub, handy for guests with young children, shower and vanity, plus a separate toilet adding convenience for groups. Ducted heating throughout keeps you nice and cosy come winter.
Undercover parking is provided for two vehicles under the carport, with additional parking available on the driveway. An in-unit washing machine and dryer make it easy to catch up on laundry during your stay.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
We are pet-friendly - please add the number of pets you're travelling with and let us know about your furry friend at the time of booking. We will reach out to charge a pet fee of $110.
