Experience the old Florida waterfront lifestyle in style! This lovely canal-front home has 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms, and a fun, coastal relaxing vibe. With waterfront heated pool, private boat ramp, white sand beach-like area, no area has been overlooked!
This remodeled coastal home welcomes you as soon as you drive up. The unique lot is wrapped by a deep water canal that leads directly out to the Gulf of Mexico (3 minutes by boat). We have provided many extras for you to have a fun and relaxing stay, whether you are looking to make family memories, longing for a fishing charter getaway, or are simply looking to experience the Florida waterfront lifestyle!
This 1800 square foot home boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, and can sleep up to 12. Between the waterfront heated pool, private boat ramp, white sand beach area, floating dock, fire pit area, new 2 person swing, rocking chairs, picnic tables and outdoor dining tables, there are many options to gather, relax and live the Florida Dream Life.
You can even bring one boat (up to 24 feet)! All Guests bringing a boat must sign a waiver before checking in, and guests with a boat between 20-24 feet will be charged a one-time $50 boat fee. You must let us know the type and length of boat in advance of booking, or directly/immediately after booking. The deep-water canal leading to the open Gulf of Mexico is wide and deep enough to accommodate a larger boat; the canal is 5 to 8 feet deep, depending on the tide.
If you do not have a boat, but would like to enjoy some time on the water, you can purchase a boat excursion! American Fishing Outfitters provides custom boating/fishing excursions and will pick our guests up from the dock in back of "Stay Salty".
If you would like to try your hand at Scalloping, Pasco County Scalloping season for 2025 is July 10 through August 18.
As you relax at this beautiful waterfront property, don't be surprised to see dolphins and/or manatees traversing near the dock during the cooler months. You could, if so desired, book with our preferred fishing charter and the boat captain will pick you up right at the dock in your back yard. It is only 3 minutes out to the open Gulf of Mexico! You could then enjoy your catch of the day or visit any number of the waterfront restaurants/bars in the area.

Bedroom #1 is the "Palm Suite" - King-sized bed - with an ensuite bathroom, and a door leading out to the pool area, with a lovely water and pool view through the door's glass.
Bedroom #2 is the "Starfish Suite" - King-sized bed - with an ensuite bathroom, windows have a water view, with a door leading out to the waterfront pool area, with another lovely water /pool view through the door's glass.
Bedroom # 3 is the "Gone Fishing Bunkhouse" - Queen-sized bed, Full-sized Bed, and 2 Twin-sized beds. The "Gone Fishing" Bunkhouse room was carefully designed by the family, custom- built by a local carpenter, and was made for siblings/ friends/cousins to create vacation memories. With its sturdy construction and variety of bed sizes, it also works well for adults who are on a getaway.
Bedroom #4 is the "Sail Away Quarters" - Queen-sized bed with a fold-out chair that can sleep 1, with water views from each window.
The Kitchen, Living, and Dining areas each look towards the lovely pool and deep-water canal. The living area and every other room in the home have a Smart TV, with the exception of the bathrooms and the laundry area. Even the pool area has a TV! Parking is free, onsite. Park up to 3 vehicles.
Two kayaks, three bicycles with helmets, and a propane grill are provided to be used at your own risk. Propane for BBQ grill to be filled by the guest. Enjoy the crackle of a nighttime fire on the water at the firepit. Guest to supply firewood. The owners have also provided a bike tool repair kit and bike tire pump for use during your stay.
Provided: A Pack-n-Play and a highchair. Beach toys for the kids to use in the white sandy waterfront beach-like area. Basketball hoop and ball. Pool toys.
Cameras are installed on the EXTERIOR of the house pointed towards the driveway, 2 side yards (including pool heater area) and the boat dock. No camera has a view of the pool or any of the interior private spaces of the home.
Imagine all the fun you can enjoy at this stellar vacation property.... however, this is the Florida Gulf coast! There is even more fun to be had outside of this lovely home! Activities and surrounding attractions: 36-mile drive to Clearwater Beach! Swimming, golfing, the many Gulf coast beaches, theme parks (Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, are approximately 45-minute drive), Disney World and Universal Studios (approximate 1.5-hour drive), the Seminole Hard Rock Casino, Buccaneer Bay, and much more! Boating, fishing, dolphin-watching, shelling, cruises, gambling boats, restaurants, shopping, and movie theaters. Tour Downtown New Port Richey. Tour the famous Greek Sponge Docks. See famous mermaid shows in Weeki Wachee, the Florida Aquarium, or visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, or Tampa Bay Rays. There is just so much that you can do. The fun is endless!

Again, this is why we HIGHLY recommend purchasing good travel insurance. There should be a few policies offered towards the end of your booking process. One of which should allow you to cancel for any reason (CFAR). However, it is important for you, to do your proper research in confirming what exclusions, if any, exist for that particular policy. If none are offered to you, you can always contact another 3rd party travel insurance company. Date changes, rain checks, or compensation will also not be options under these circumstances! Hurricane season, again, falls between June 1st and November 30th.

Monthly bookings have a cap on the electric bill at $150; Guest to pay overage. Pool heater is set at 85 and is not to be changed off of 85 degrees. Guests are not to touch the pool equipment. Exterior cameras are in place.

Because we have a high amount of same day turnovers, we kindly ask that you PLEASE refrain from asking for an early check in. Check-in is at 4PM Eastern or any time thereafter.
