Unser wunderschönes 1765 sf "Cottage" der gehobenen Klasse, das 2008 fertiggestellt wurde, befindet sich auf einer Höhe von über 7000 Metern in einer natürlichen Umgebung auf einem friedlichen Hektar mit kühlen Kiefern im Norden von Arizona. Wir befinden uns nur wenige Minuten östlich von Williams, dem Tor zum Grand Canyon, wo Sie zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für fast alles finden, was Sie brauchen. Die Fahrt zum Südrand des Grand Canyon dauert 45 Minuten, und Flagstaff ist 25 Minuten und Sedona eine Stunde entfernt. Dies ist eine großartige, zentrale Lage! Sehen Sie die Sterne durch die Oberlichter vom Kingsize-Bett im Master und dem Queensize-Bett im Loft aus. Beide Schlafzimmer haben einen Fernseher und einen DVD-Player. In der voll ausgestatteten Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie brauchen, bringen Sie Ihre Lebensmittel mit und bereiten Sie einfache oder Gourmetgerichte zu. Die Waschküche umfasst Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Entspannung im Freien auf dem Deck, der Feuerstelle oder der Veranda. Es gibt ein Festnetz (Telefon) im Haus für Ortsgespräche. Fantastic Weekend Stay!

The pictures of this cabin don’t do it justice. Our party of six had plenty of space—the kids enjoyed the beds in the loft area, swing set in the back, and fires at night! The furniture and bedding are all nicely updated and clean. The carpets are in like-new condition. The location is woodsy without being too remote. If you’re on the fence and scrolling reviews, stop here! Such an excellent stay—thank you for sharing your home, Merrie.

Weekend getaway in Williams

What an amazing property. This listing was just as described. It was a great forest retreat away from the Las Vegas suburbs. We came for my FIL 60th birthday and had an amazing time. The property is near the BNSF line and there were teain horns throughout the stay much to my inner childs delight. We arrived a week after snow and our kids had their first opportunity to experience building a snow man and hitting their dad with snowballs. The location is great! Tucked away in the woods not too far from Williams. A quick rode to thw Grand Canyon, up the road from the Deer Farm and two exits away from Bearizona. Our family from the city got to spend nights under the stars and had a backyard fire while the kids played on the swingset. It was an amazing experience and great memories were made. If we head back to Williams, we will stay here again.

We planned to do some hiking near the Grand Canyon, but a huge snowstorm changed our plans. Luckily, the cabin was a great place to stay cozy for a few days, and the kids had a blast building a snowman and learning to shovel the driveway.

Perfect Family Getaway Near Williams

Lovely Home in Williams, Arizona!

To begin with, this home has a fabulous location in the relaxing piney woods! Williams, Arizona is the place to stay if you are planning on visiting the Grand Canyon and Sedona! We took the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon and had such a fun time! The train ride was full of Old West entertainment, snacks, and Arizona views. This home was absolutely pristine clean and quite charming! If you enjoy sitting on a porch with a glass of wine, visiting with friends, this is your place! The cabinets were full of any cooking or bathroom supplies you could possibly need! We must commend the owner on providing us with an opportunity to stay in her beautifully decorated home. We stayed from Sept 23-28 2024. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable. We were a group of mother, son and 3 sisters (all over 50 years old). The cabin was easy to access and very convenient to Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Williams. We enjoyed watching the birds and animals, especially a gray fox that visited. Beds were very comfortable and the house had pretty much anything that you would need, including all kitchen amenities. I ran from the cabin most mornings for a morning run and found dirt roads and trails all around to run on. Great place to relax and enjoy family. Wonderful porch for visiting and grills for cooking. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful vacation house.

Peaceful stay in Williams

This house was perfect for our group of seven to use as home base as we toured Williams and the Grand Canyon. The home was impeccably clean and seemed larger and nicer in person than it did in the pictures. It was a little ways off the main road but a pretty drive to get there. Aside from the frequent trains passing by, the neighborhood was so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Sherwood Forest a Merrie good time

First and foremost a huge shout out to the neighbor Cindy, We are so grateful and thankful to your neighbor whose kindness, willingness and generosity saved us from the corrupt soldiers of Budget Rental in Flag! Williams is a very short drive, however be aware of the iron horsemen at the end of Sherwood Forest. It can be a long wait at the crossing. In Williams we enjoyed the Aquatic Center (wonderful, helpful employees), Cataract Creeks Gang's Wild West Show nightly at 7p preformed right on the street(rt 66), We went 3 times, loved it!! The extra time the players spend with the crowd afterwards is wonderful, Sultana Bar on 3rd and RT66 is friendly and ask for Elisha. -- 1st Baptist Church on Grant is truly a blessing. Very friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated being invited to the fellowship meal after the service. Merrie the house is fabulous, loved the design decor and staircase. My granddaughter loved the loft. Sitting on either porch was very relaxing. Internet and cell was spotty at best or non existent and of course I couldn't get a hold or reach you about our lil dilemma. Cindy knows the story. -- PS the little girl from the church that we watched on and off while we were in Williams and actually she went to Gold Canyon for a couple of days so her mother, grandfather and 3 aunts could spend the final days of her grandmothers life did pass away on June 24 2024. Our cancelled flight from Chi to Cle caused drama for my granddaughter's mother. She wants make up

Peaceful woodland cabin

Cabin in a small, quiet neighborhood off a dirt road in the middle of the national forest, making it a peaceful location. There is a very active train track about 1 mile down the road and some in our group were awoken at night because of it, but most of us slept through it just fine. We used the house as our home base to visit the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Williams, and Sedona so it was a convenient location for all our adventures. The house itself was very clean, and accurately described in the listing. It has everything we needed for cooking and doing a bit of laundry. Check in and check out was very easy and straightforward. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Property & Location

This property is in a nicely wooded area. We loved the cabin feel inside. Everything was super clean and we had plenty of room. The location is great too. Easy drives to lots of popular northern Arizona attractions from the Grand Canyon to Sedona to Flagstaff to Montezuma's Castle/Well to Meteor Crater. Would definitely stay here again!

Darrel & Merrie met in Williams & have been married 51 years. They have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Merrie grew up in the area, and has always called it "home", she loves the mountains, pines and the quiet pace of the location.

We purchased the acre of land in 2002 because of the quiet, forest setting and dreamed of the day we would see our cabin there on the property. We sketched our vision, took the drawings to a draftsman who drew the plans. We sub-contracted the construction beginning in 2005, and it was 100% hands on for us, doing much of the work ourselves. The home was (for the most part) completed in 2007. There was no intention of renting our home at that time, but with the economy crunch in 2009, we made the choice to share our home as a vacation rental, rather than selling it, which would have crushed us. We have enjoyed the process, and have been doing some finishing touches and updates along the way. A fresh coat of interior paint, new drapes and rug, a new microwave, a 4K UHD tv in the lower bedroom, updated Dishnet Hopper satellite system and STARLINK SATELLITE INTERNET are a few of the changes made since the first of this year (2019.) We are confident you will enjoy the property, and make many happy memories there. PLEASE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THOSE WITH ALLERGIES, DO NOT BRING A PET/ESA/SERVICE ANIMAL TO OUR HOME.

There is a peacefulness you'll feel when staying at our home, and the proximity to the Grand Canyon, Williams, Bearizona, The Grand Canyon Railway, Flagstaff and Sedona makes our home perfect for daily outings taking in all the sites. We enjoy taking the family to the cabin to enjoy the cool weather in summer. The smell of the pines, relaxing around the fire pit and taking walks in the forest, along with the occasional sightings of the deer, elk, antelope among other critters in the area are a welcome change of pace. The Kaibab squirrels that live in the neighborhood enjoy the handouts and are very entertaining. Winters are beautiful with the fresh snow, sledding and holidays with spiced cider, hot chocolate and popcorn we provide. Christmas in Williams is a sight to behold, with the parade and the lighting of the huge Christmas tree. Boarding the Polar Express is a joy for the kiddies, young and old. Bearizona Wildlife Park and The Deer Farm are a must see, near Williams, only a few miles away. (Sorry, we do not host pets, including service animals, in consideration of those with allergies).
