Perched opposite the State Library in the heart of Melbourne’s city centre, this bright and spacious one bedroom apartment is unmatched for its location. Located on Swanston Street—which is in the free tram zone—and sitting up amongst the treetops with beautiful views of the heritage-listed State Library building; you’ll have everything Melbourne has to offer right on your doorstep. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, you’ll stay in a stylish one-bedroom apartment for two guests.
Streams of natural light fill a bright, contemporary space decorated in sleek furnishings and light-washed timber flooring. Think: mid-century furniture, patterned feature wallpaper and copper decor; all framed by uninterrupted views of the stunning State Library heritage building that you can see across the road from the grand windows.
The open-plan space takes you from the well-lit living area—that features a chic grey couch, coffee table, beautiful copper lamp and TV—to the compact kitchen equipped with new appliances and all the basics you’ll need for your stay including a two-person dining table, dishes and cutlery, small fridge, microwave, gas stovetop and wine glasses.
Wake up in a plush double bed dressed in high-quality linen, make use of the convenient built-in mirrored wardrobes and enjoy a bathroom with a rainfall shower head, vanity and toilet.
Additional amenities include a dual heating and cooling unit and high-speed Wi-Fi.
**Please note, all linen and towels are provided. Some basic necessities are also provided but those that are not are expected to be purchased by the guest. We have found that guests purchase consumables that build up over time. This system seems to work well.
**Guests will not have access to the letterbox. If guests want to receive mail they will need to have it sent to the local post office for pick up.
Please note some of the apartments are owned by Unilodge, a provider of student accommodation and some are privately owned. This apartment is privately owned.
We are no longer able to provide lockbox access due to new council rules. Our greeting service will get in-touch after you book to arrange key handover. *Please note there is an additional fee of $35 after 9pm for key handovers and If you are running late to meet our greet person please let us know asap. We will need to charge $50 per hour for late arrival to meet our greet person.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
Apologies in advance, but council restrictions do not allow us to set up lockboxes for keys in this area. Our meet-and-greet service will incur an additional fee of $30 for check-ins after 8 pm, and $60 after midnight. Thank you for understanding.
