Dieses am See gelegene Chalet befindet sich auf einem 1,2 ha großen, bewaldeten Grundstück am See und bietet viel Privatsphäre und Platz für kleine oder größere Gruppen. Es befindet sich in einer familienorientierten, privaten Gemeinde mit einer Lärmschutzverordnung. Wir richten uns an Familien und andere Gruppen, die Entspannung und Natur genießen möchten. Summit Lake ist ungefähr 45 Morgen groß und hat weniger als 25 Cottages. Ungefähr 45% der Küste sind und bleiben unerschlossen, da sie von der Delaware River Conservancy verwaltet werden. Es verfügt über einen Holzofen, zusätzlich zur regulären Hitze, eine Lagerfeuergrube im Freien mit Brennholz. Wir bieten unseren Gästen die Nutzung von 4 Kajaks, 2 Kanus und einem Ruderboot von unserem privaten Dock aus an.

Ski trip

My family rented this cabin for a short ski trip to Elk mtn. The cabin was really nice and described nicely in summary. We couldn’t do much exploring of propety due to amount of snow but we are already looking forward to renting this in summer. It’s right on lake with a dock, couldn’t ask for anything better. We really enjoyed our visit.

Great, Cozy Stay -- Need 4 Wheel Drive in Winter

We had such a lovely time at this cozy little cabin! It’s simple, charming, and had everything we needed, including firewood for the fireplace, which made our evenings extra special. While it’s a bit more basic in terms of amenities, the location is perfect for skiing and offers a peaceful getaway. Just a heads-up—the owner’s advice about needing a 4x4 in winter is definitely true—one of our family members in a Tesla couldn’t make it. The kids had a blast, and the Internet worked perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic stay for anyone wanting some quiet time in nature!

Rustic Pocono Cabin On Small Lake

Nice, rustic, well used, comfortable cabin. Lovely Summit Lake with fish to catch and the host providing a row boat, canoe and kayaks. There is a nice fire pit for campfires, the host providing the firewood and comfortable seating. Located away from other attractions, the cabin and grounds made a nice place for our family vacation.

Relaxing Getaway

Pocono Heaven

We stayed here President’s Day weekend 2024 and had a wonderful time. Very comfy cozy. Only approximately 25 minutes away from Elk Mountain which was very convenient. Just make sure you bring everything you need as the stores locally may not have what you need.

Great family vacation

We all enjoyed our time staying on the lake. We swam, enjoyed the dock, the floating dock, the kayaks, canoe and row boat, and even attempted some fishing. The fire pit area was great for the evening as well. This property has a beautiful view of the lake, is clean and well cared for. We enjoyed our stay.

Lake front Getaway

Overall, the stay was very nice with the best being lake access and availability to the equipment. Really enjoyed how it seems so secluded and private. The cabin has a very rustic feel which is fine and expected but some focus on basic upgrades and property maintenance would make it perfect.

Just what we were looking for…

Enjoyed a long weekend with family over Memorial Day. Location is great to escape and enjoy the lake. Nothing fancy, but everything you need and fits that cabin/great outdoors vibe. The kids loved exploring the property and catching fish while the adults enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a good book.

Great log cabin in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful time at the lakefront cabin. We were there for a Christmas weekend skiing trip to Elk Mountain, and we needed a rental where we could bring our bulldog and it was perfect. My husband could easily go back and forth to Elk, to let him out and get back to the mountain to ski with us, and the kids loved sleeping in the loft.

Winter Reunion

This property and the owner were wonderful. It was a warm chalet with the charm you would hope for. It is peaceful with a brook that runs down the property and the snow was beautiful. Sleeping conditions were great and even the single bathroom was fine with our group. We enjoyed our stay and were warmly greeted by the owner.

I'm a local owner that lives 3 miles from this property. I also own and operate the Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant from that distance. For guests with specific interests, I'm a long time resident and can provide advice on the many activities available in Northeast Pennsylvania. Experienced fisherman, I can point you in the direction of trophy trout fishing, with a fly rod, on the Upper Delaware River. Or float the River with an experienced guide that we can help you arrange.

Kayaking and canoeing is available directly from our shoreline, which also includes a shorebased dock with seating, and a floating dock anchored 75 ft. off shore. We provide adult and child size life vests, located in master bedroom closet. You can also enjoy kayaking and tubing on the Upper Delaware, with equipment rentals available during the warmer months.

The lake itself is springfed and clean, and regularly tested. For yourself or children swiming, I recommend those water slippers so you don't have to touch any weeds or lake bottom with bare feet!

Great for groups or couples, we provide the chalet turn key, with all bedding and linens, equipped kitchen and dry firewood provided.
