Great Family-Friendly Toronto apt.
Our newly renovated, self contained one bedroom apartment with brand new designer inspired furniture is centrally located in a funky sophisticated neighbourhood accessible to The Annex and University of Toronto.
The space
Welcome to “The Robina Urban Dweller"! We hope you enjoy our space. It has all the amenities and comforts of home, is kid friendly, steps from the streetcar, and is quiet clean and bright.
The space is in a three story home with large mature trees. It will be exceptionally clean when you arrive. The space accommodates 1-3 guests comfortably. Two on the queen size bed in the bedroom, one person on the pull out double couch comfortably in the separate room. The apartment has it's own separate entrance, is a lower level, with LED lighting and a window in every main room. The bedroom is separate with a queen size bed. All linens and organic cotton sheets are available for your stay. It has an eating area, kitchen and living room with excellent super comfortable easy flip, double bed and foam topper. The laundry room is your own. We have a modern high chair, pack-in -play with bedding, and kids car booster age 5-9. There is Netflix and Internet for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped. We don't have a microwave as we try and live simply. We live on the top two floors and are very available to help with any questions or with getting around Toronto. If there is anything missing just ask and we will provide. We are upstairs getting ready for work from 7:30am-8:15 am. Mon-Fri . The house is sound insulated in the floor, however some sounds are inevitable. We are conscious of this and are quiet. Arriving late at night? No problem-You enter on your own with push button codes on the outside. With back up keys in lock box in case the key pad fails. If you would like food from our local Butcher and prepared food place, "Roast", put into your fridge, you may go onto their website, pre-order with Ben, and we will have the food waiting you in your fridge. He gives a deal on the food, and we charge a small fee for delivery, but it's a small convenience to having a meal ready made, or ready for you to cook in your fridge. We are close to St. Clair and Bathurst or St. Clair and Christie. Unfortunately we cannot have guests use "Dove" hair or body products, as one of us is highly allergic to one of the ingredients. We are sorry for this inconvenience, and will have natural hair and body products available from our local health food store.
Guest access
We will try and meet you upon arrival. The exact address for the house will be provided when you book. There is a code for the exterior door, which will be provided a few days prior to your arrival, and you can always enter on your own. A key for the front inside door will be left in the apartment when you arrive.
Other things to note
You may also apply for temporary parking at your own computer ahead of time, at the city of Toronto link ‘Toronto temporary on-street permit parking'.
(URL HIDDEN) out the permit ahead of time, and bring with you and put in your dashboard for the first night you arrive. Parking is free during the day, however night parking is mandatory from midnight to 8 am by the city of Toronto. If you do not have a printer handy, you can email me the permit, and we will print it out for you.
Parking is generally $7.21 per 24 hours or $13.51 per 48 hours, and so on with a $24.10 for the week. plus H.S.T.
We will have a very detailed list of our information, safety information, nearby hospitals, grocery stores, restaurants, house rules and details for you in the space. We now have a high chair and a pack-in-play for babies (that can be set up next to the queen bed in the bedroom) to comfortably sleep with fresh sheets and blankets for it, as well as kids cutlery, plates, and bowls, toys, bath toys and much more.
We love our planet, and the air we breath. If we can ask when staying with us to leave strong smelling chemical hair products, body soap, and creams at home. The chemical smells travel, and I have a child. We will have all natural hair shampoo, conditioner and body soap, or feel free to purchase healthy options at Eco Existence, just down the street. As well if there are minors travelling with you (teenagers), they will have to be supervised when using the stove. I'm sorry but I do not accept travelers from 19-25 who are not accompanied by an adult, due to insurance reasons. If a fourth person is to be added for instance three adults and one baby, an extra $10.00 a night is asked to cover costs of extra laundry, and utilities.
