Perched atop a wooded hill, with sweeping views of Little Pamet Valley, this architectural showpiece is the ideal spot for a relaxing Truro getaway. The home and its layout make for a wonderful setting for your family getaway or reunion.

Built by Eric Winslow Construction in 2014, this 3559 sq ft contemporary was designed by Hammer Architects. "The design is informed by similar early modern vacation houses on the Outer Cape, which visually connect with the surrounding natural landscape," according to Hammer.

Decorated by an interior designer with stylish furnishings--a mix of updated antiques and new pieces--and lovely art including works acquired during the owners' travels and original photography by the owner.

This gorgeous home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and one half bath. Central air-conditioning. The interior spaces are open and bright, with high ceilings and large windows. The exterior spaces are equally stunning with a large main deck, screen porch, roof deck, oversized enclosed outdoor shower, covered patio and landscaping originally designed by Jessalyn Jarest Landscape Architecture.

From the front entrance, head to the main living area with living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room has a comfortable sofa and chairs, a large flat screen TV with Sonos soundbar and a gas fireplace. The dining area has a large table with seating for all.

The kitchen is a foodie's delight. Wolf induction cooktop, Wolf double wall stove, Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer with separate wine fridge (red and white temperature settings), microwave dishwasher, two sinks, Corian countertops and a large center island with counter seating. The pantry has a second dishwasher, another sink and an excellent assortment of dishware, cookware and small appliances including a Keurig, French press, drip coffee maker and blender. A door from the kitchen leads to the wonderful enclosed porch with dining table--breezy and bug-free.

The floor to ceiling windows in the main living area frame a panoramic view of Little Pamet Valley. A slider leads from the main living area to the large deck that runs the length of the home. Sit out on the deck and surround yourself in the peaceful, natural beauty of Truro. Glorious sunsets too.

One of the home's four bedrooms is on the first floor. This roomy primary bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom with custom tiled shower. Plenty of closet space and an exterior door to an oversized enclosed outdoor shower.

Just off the main foyer is a powder room (half bath) and the conveniently located washer and dryer.

Stairs from the foyer lead to the second floor. Choose a book from the collection in the upper foyer--didn't finish during your stay? Take it home with you! There are two bedrooms on this floor. One bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with custom shower. The other also has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with custom shower, plus a slider to a rooftop deck. Enjoy breathtaking views from the deck and the full wall of windows in this bedroom facing the valley.

Back to the main foyer and down the steps to the lower level where you will find bedroom four. This bedroom has a queen bed and a slider to the ground level patio. The family room is a very comfortable space with sleep sofa and large flat screen TV with Sonos sound system. There is a wet bar with sink and Sub Zero fridge and a table with chairs--perfect for a jigsaw puzzle or a board game. This level has a large bathroom with a separate soaking tub and shower. There is also an office area with desk at the base of the stairs if you can't escape work emails. Strong WiFi will support streaming, surfing and Zooming.

A slider from the family room leads to the lovely patio with gas grill, table and chairs and two wonderful swings. Relax in the shade and enjoy the wooded views.

The lovely wooded lot is punctuated by mature plantings and beautiful summer blooms.

Store bikes and kayaks in the carport beneath the screen porch. Parking for three vehicles in the upper drive.

Nestled in a tranquil spot, this property is a short drive to all the best of Truro including the town's amazing bay and ocean beaches, restaurants, galleries and shops, wine tasting and Truro Vineyards, live concerts at Payomet Performing Arts and the Cape Cod National Seashore's beaches, trails and sites. Fifteen-minute drive to Provincetown for restaurants, shops, galleries, night clubs, live entertainment, whale watches, chartered fishing tours and other fun on the water. Less than a fifteen-minute drive to Wellfleet's center and harbor for even more wonderful dining, shopping and gallery hopping.

2024: Our family loved this house, especially the covered porch where we had most of our meals. Upon cancellation for ANY reason, money will be refunded less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due, ONLY if the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover Compass undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover Compass and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover Compass.
