Ort! Stil! Eleganz! Dieses restaurierte "Strandhaus" ist eine fantastische Kombination aus allem, was ein tolles Ferienobjekt sein sollte. Einen halben Block von der Duval Street im historischen Viertel entfernt, ist diese Lage nicht zu schlagen. Die Geschichte des Hauses ist reich an der historischen Gato-Zigarrenfabrik, die jetzt restauriert und als Bezirksbüro genutzt wird. Der Duval Square befindet sich direkt gegenüber, mit drei Restaurants, Geschäften und sogar einem Salon und Supermarkt. Das beste hausgemachte Eis in Key West ist gleich die Straße runter!

Das Haus ist wunderschön mit warmen Farben eingerichtet und mit raffinierten Möbeln mit kubanischen Motiven ausgestattet. Es gibt sowohl ein Wohnzimmer als auch einen Lesebereich vor dem Haus und einen Innen- / Außenraum, um den tropischen Lebensstil von Key West zu genießen. Ein großer Bauernhaustisch befindet sich im Wintergarten mit französischen Fenstern und Türen mit Blick auf den Pool direkt an der neuen Küche mit schwarzen Granitplatten und Edelstahlgeräten.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist wunderschön mit seinem schwarzen Stiftbett und einem einzigartigen Bad mit Wellness-Stil eingerichtet. Das zweite Schlafzimmer befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Hauses und fühlt sich an wie die Master Suite mit Fenstertüren zum Außensitzbereich und zum Pool.

Der 21 Meter lange beheizbare Pool verfügt auf jeder Seite über Bänke zum Entspannen (eine mit Düsen!) Es gibt einen Tisch im Freien und einen nahe gelegenen Gasgrill für Speisen im Freien.

Casa De Cuba

Lovely home, nicely appointed, which looks exactly like the on line listing photos. Extremely convenient location between Duval & Simonton. Some construction work in the area during the day, but it was not particularly noisy. Our family of five really enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion for the owner would be to consider a pool vacuum, as leaves were constantly falling on the deck & in the pool.

Cute, cozy house walkable to everything!

The house was a perfect size for our family. We had room to stretch out and enjoy ourselves. The pool is a little bit small, but heated and in the shade, which was nice in the afternoons when we come back from the beach. Location was great. Just a few steps from Duval Street. Our teenage daughter and her friend were able to walk and get food and smoothies and we didn’t worry about at all. Being a few steps off of Duval I will say it was a bit noisy but typically that died down by midnight. Owner was wonderful to communicate with and check in process was easy. House was clean and well maintained.

Great house

This is a fantastic property. Very clean, very comfortable furniture, fantastic amenities (including coffee grinders that are not on the amenities list) and a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again. There is a little bit of noise. The generator of the municipal building next door did do a maintenance run Wednesday morning, the filter for the pool is right outside one of the bedroom windows. But these are essentially white noises that aren’t that loud. You’re also less than a block off Duval, and there are plenty of people walking around, but what do you expect; you’re less than a block from Duval. None of these issues would prevent me from booking here again, and I only mention them because I saw other reviewers mention them and wanted to give my two cents. As I said, overall this is an excellent VRBO property and experience.

Perfect house in the perfect location

My husband and I visited Key West with our 3 year old twins and my in laws and the house was PERFECT for us. Plenty of space and the house was stocked with all the necessities. The backyard although small felt like our own private oasis. The pool was awesome and great for a plunge after a day out. The location was perfect. Right off Duval but the street wasn’t loud or busy at all. Cute shops and restaurants at a stones throw and a Great ice cream place on the corner. Would stay here again for sure!!!

Perfect, Cozy Home

This house was perfect for our family. We rented a golf cart for the week and we had a spot to park. The house came with some extras like hand soaps, laundry pods, garbage bags and spices. They also had nice bath and pool towels. The pool was a little chilly but our littlest didn’t mind. We would bring extra pillows next time. That was the only thing in the house that needed an upgrade. We would definitely stay here again!

Casa De Cuba hits the mark on everything! The location is perfect; walking distance to Duval, but yet quiet at night. Every amenity needed, is provided! Charming house with great location

We had a fantastic one-week stay with our 2 teen children at this home. It is located near various good restaurants and a 15 min walk to Mallory Square. The home has a lovely plunge pool area for lazy afternoons and cozy spaces to spend time with each other and also spread out. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The house has lots of charm and we hope to return again soon.

Fantastic stay!

Casa de Cuba is excellent. We spent a week, 2 adults and 3 teen/tweens and it was perfect. Very walkable to almost everything, but still on a quiet street, and the pool was well used between other activities. Extra large pool towels are a nice touch, and everything was well furnished.

Perfection in Paradise

We have gone to Key West in February for the past 10 years and stayed in many different types of accommodations. Casa De Cuba is, by far, the perfect place for 2 couples or a family. The home is so well laid out , with space for everyone to relax . It is also beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings , a fully equipped kitchen, and impressive artwork. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable. We spent the majority of our time around the pool area and shaded porch . It was the perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon naps. A previous review indicated that the generator next to the property was a nuisance and a real negative. It only came on once during our week and I believe that you will either sleep through it or if you are an early riser, take a short walk to La Grignote for a cup of coffee and a delicious bakery treat. After 10 years, we have definitely found our perfect vacation accommodations in Key West. Thank you Dean for making our stay so comfortable and memorable . See you again next year!

Perfect Location

Well appointed clean home. It is in a quiet location but less than a block from Duvall. Easy to get anywhere in on Duvall. Pool does not get a lot of winter sun. But the landscape is very nice and makes for a lot of privacy.
