Wir laden Sie ein, unsere neue HĂŒtte mit 3 Schlafzimmern (2 Königinnen mit einem Dachboden als drittes Schlafzimmer) in der Wohnanlage von Riverbend, nur 10 Minuten östlich des öffentlichen Strandes von Lake Lure, zu genießen. Unsere HĂŒtte ist ein wahrer RĂŒckzugsort in einer ruhigen Umgebung mit Zugang zum (und Winterblick auf) Mirror Lake, Little Mirror Lake und Broad River. Genießen Sie Schwimmen, SchlĂ€uche, Angeln und Bootfahren.
Die beiden Queensize-Betten im Erdgeschoss haben beide Memory Foam Topper und weiche Laken. Das Loft im Obergeschoss verfĂŒgt ĂŒber zwei sehr komfortable Einzelbetten und einen kompletten Futon (und viele Brettspiele, BĂŒcher und einen Kickertisch).
Die voll ausgestattete moderne KĂŒche mit allen EdelstahlgerĂ€ten bietet Platz fĂŒr bis zu 8 Personen. Machen Sie es sich mit dem schönen Steinkamin am warmen Feuer gemĂŒtlich. Wir haben jetzt kostenloses WiFi mit Verizon und ein Netflix-Konto, so dass Sie Filme / Shows streamen können. Über 50 DVDs zum Ansehen.

Dog friendly happy place!

We loved our stay
.everything was easy from check in to check out and the house was super well stocked with all the essentials! The property is very well set up for dogs. Close proximity to all the good areas, and the Lake was very clean (although cold and rainy). Beautiful scenery and the Nature walk near the waterfall is a must. Karen was a great host!

There aren’t enough stars to help me review our stay! The cabin was exactly as described in the property details. From the use of the keypad to enter the cabin to every detail of the setup of the cabin to the outside amenities, it was amazing! We loved sitting on the decks looking out at the beautiful scenery. Our two dogs, Gibbs and Kate, loved both the pen and the free-range front yard. We all loved just sitting and enjoying the God-provided serenity of your cabin. Your cabin is one of our favorites we have used over the past few years. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Family Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was the perfect place to unwind as a family. We paddle-boarded, swam/lounged on the beach, explored the trails, and hiked Chimney Rock. The house was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were very responsive and organized. Lake Lure and the small surrounding towns are hidden gems. We had no idea how peaceful a vacation rental could be! When we pulled up to the house and got out of our truck, the first thing we noticed was how quiet it was....nothing but leaves rustling in the breeze and the scampering of the many different woodland creatures. Soaring ceilings, wide open spaces, and huge windows letting in the bright sunlight. Photos provided on websites do not show the amount of space here! Everything was in pristine condition (I'm one that usually cleans a rental before bringing my belongings in, didn't need to here!), and smelled fresh. The furniture and decor is welcoming and "cabin-y". Dog beds, blankets, bowls are all provided (although we took our own), and our pups felt right at home once we got all their stuff inside. The bathroom was well appointed, however a bit small overall. I spent my mornings sitting in one of the very comfortable egg chairs on the deck, having tea, just listening to nothing...perfection. The only problem we had (which is in NO way negative to the property) were the steps leading from the parking area to the house. We are both older and have mobility issues, so unloading/loading were difficult for us. We had a wonderful time, and absolutely recommend this property if you are in the Lake Lure area!! I only wish I could have bagged up the tranquility to bring home and spread over my own home. Thank you Karen and Dave for sharing your beautiful home!!

Pre-Anniversary Vacation

We have stayed at this property in the fall, but couldn't wait to get back during the summer months, when the water was a little warmer. We really like the location, the proximity to everything needed and the wildlife. We saw deer and rabbits on or around the property everyday. Our daughter just loved being this close to nature.

Beautiful setting and cabin!

My husband and I and our two dogs visited for a long weekend and highly recommend this cabin. It caught my eye because it's dog-friendly. The cabin is located in a private, gated community that is very wooded and natural - there are plenty of places to walk (if you like hills!), lakes with a private beach and a nature walk. The cabin itself was super cozy and cute. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, wood-burning fireplace and well-equipped kitchen. Karen was terrific to work with and very responsive. Definitely recommend staying here!

Cozy cabin in the forest

First off, Karen is the most gracious and accommodating hostess. She was so responsive to my inquiries and checked up on us. The cabin was a little tricky to get to, but I blame that on us being from flat Texas and unused to hilly terrain. But we got the hang of it. The cabin was so quiet and relaxing. Everything we needed was already in the cabin. Very pet friendly. Our furries loved it. We did day excursions to hike and shop. Great area and great place. I would highly recommend.

Cozy cabin with gorgeous view

I booked this cabin several months ago for a girl's weekend. We looked online at the pictures and thought it looked beautiful but the pictures alone do not do it justice. We loved how the owners have carefully taken attention to detail in making this cabin as cozy and comfortable as possible. All of the creature comforts we needed were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the gorgeous views as we sat on the very comfortable egg chairs on the deck. Will book again!

Amazing

Quaint, Private, Quiet - Are all words I’d use to describe this incredible cabin. My family and I had a wonderful experience at this mountain lake escape. We felt like it was the perfect size for our family of 4. Our kids loved the loft, while I spent as much time as possible by the fire pit or fishing. Karen and her husband provided us with all the information we needed to settle in and see the nearby sights. Their cabin and the experience they provided went beyond our expectations. We will be returning soon.

Anchoring the space is a stunning stone fireplace with a mantle dating back to the 1700s, salvaged from a historic West Virginia cabin. It’s not just a conversation piece—it’s the heart of the home.

Step onto the deck and you’ll enjoy peaceful, seasonal views of Mirror Lake. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, an afternoon read, or a glass of wine as the sun sets. We’ve filled the cabin with thoughtful, personal touches—like locally crafted artwork and custom furniture designed by us and built by a talented area woodworker. The console table and writing desk are just a few examples of the handmade quality that gives the space its character.
