The Cozy Cottage at the Beach packs big fun for you, just across the street from the Gulf!

The two queen beds and one bathroom perfectly accommodate a party of four. The kitchenette and washer and dryer provide you with the basic essentials needed for your stay. No dishwasher

In the lounge area, a wall-mounted Smart TV allow you to stream your favorite shows, and free WiFi round out the home entertainment.

This stand-alone house has a large, private deck area for relaxation in the mornings and evenings. Close by is public beach access with a marked pedestrian crosswalk that takes you across the two-lane street, straight to the Gulf!

The Cozy Cottage at the Beach is in walking distance to a convenience store, restaurant, and pizzeria. In season, there's also a fresh seafood market and ice cream store.

This sweet house is pet friendly for one dog @ 20 lbs. There is a pet fee.

Guests must be 25 to rent. Non-smoking. Monthly rentals welcome!

NOTE: The upstairs apartment is rented separately.

Amazing Location, Amazing Property

I came with my friends, and we absolutely enjoyed the property! The location to the beach was something I cannot even explain! You are literally a one minute walk to the beach. The property was gorgeous, clean, and matched up just to the listing! 100% would rent again!

Great Convenience

Good place for a couple or small family

We enjoyed our stay. I would have like to have seen the back yard cleaned up better than it was. Being dog friendly, the back yard needed some work. The brush was grown up and left my pup with black needles all in his fur. Also beware of the sand spurs.

Peaceful getaway

Overall the stay was amazing, i wasn't aware it was a 2 apartment house. Im not sure if i overlooked that in the listing. Also the property would be above and beyond if the backyard was cared for and maintained. We had an issue with plumbing but the owner was there pretty fast which was pleasant. Will definitely come back and stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: cottage was very nice and roomy, only thing wrong was the smell in the drawers and closets. Musky smelling and it made your clothes smell like that when you put your suitcase in the closet. Need to pu some kind of deordorizer in those places

Review

Check in was easy and company had excellent communication. House was clean and the size was good for a short getaway. I will warn there is no hood above the oven so when cooking I recommend opening the doors and turning the fans on. I also recommend bringing your own blankets if you get easily cold. There are light holes under the doors from seals being busted over time so we did have issues with some cockroaches coming in… Overall it held its purpose of a short getaway close to the beach and price matched the value.

What An Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather has been great.The Cottage wasn't 🤔 that great due to the place was Roach invested. The kitchen was way to little,no counter space,no cabinets to store groceries. The sofa is very uncomfortable, and the beds weren't so bad. Bender Realty did everything to accommodate us. One more thing! The place needs some cookware if you're planning on cooking meals. Question i s,would we stay here again? Absolutely not.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was very disappointed with this property. My first impression walking in the bad smells. No central air made it hard to regulate temperatures. Old dirty carpet in the bedroom and old couch that I could not even think to sit on. Dark and dingy and uncomfortable. Barely a kitchen to use. The deck had a hodgepodge of old furniture.

Short trip but perfect

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took a last minute quick trip before school started. Gulf Shores is one of our favorite places to visit. The girls quickly gave the house the nickname "big city green" after the cartoon. The access to the beach couldn't have been better. We loved not having to share the area with anyone so no noisy neighbors banging around on top of us or beside us. The house is small but we only slept and showered. The rest of our time we spent it out. For the price, I couldn't complain either! We would come back, in fact we are planning on it for next year. The staff were wonderful and kind. They checked in on us, gave us all the information we needed to contact them after hours and even anticipated our needs. Our family of 4 received the rest and relaxation we desperately needed. Thank you for making this such a great destination.
