Christmas Adventure 2024

The lake is beautiful. The home has some good amenities for warmer weather. The house overall satisfied our needs but there were some areas lacking. The bedroom with the biggest bed was attached to the bedroom with the three twin beds and was the walk through to get to the game room from inside the house. We also had to go through the twin bedroom in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Lucky for us our eldest granddaughter who sleeps through most anything was the occupant of this room. The pool sticks in the game room were unusable. Additionally, the frying pans in the kitchen were dirty and in need of replacing. Ice trays would've been great to be able to make ice to use during our stay. We did appreciate the games in the sunroom. The sofa was comfortable and the kitchen pub table was perfect for playing cards. Overall we made it work for our annual Christmas Adventure with our grandchildren.

Thanksgiving 2024

We, having an adult Thanksgiving at this location was perfect for us. Seven in total really enjoyed the stay as it provided all we needed and more. My oldest son, my youngest as well as others enjoyed the fishing where two large catfish were caught and released.

Relaxing Lakefront Retreat

We loved our stay! We hardly left the beautiful sunroom. The house was clean, furniture was comfortable, and the stay really helped usbto recharge!

Amazing Location

Great location on the lake! Quiet neighborhood. Kid friendly. Game room was great! Perfect for our family of 9. We had a question while staying there and received a quick, helpful response.

Spring Break Get a Way

We went with our son and his friend. Our daughter was playing for her college beach Volleyball team at Catawba so we wanted to see her play and have some fun of our own. The home is right on the water, AMAZING views. The room set up is a bit odd, as I would prefer to be in the king size bed, but then the boys would have been a little too close, but other than that it was perfect. The boys had fun with the kayaks and tried fishing (no fish in March 😩). We got so many great pictures. It was super clean and the host was great with communicating.

Great place on High Rock Lake

The property was cozy, comfortable, and had great views and direct access to the lake. The game room was a great bonus and we spent hours enjoying it. Kayaks were available to use, but a little to cool to get on the lake, but. Nice amenity to have. The host was proactive in welcoming us and checking in regularly to make sure our stay was going well.

BEST VACATION EVER!!

I'm going to start off by saying Anil/Owner was the best host I ever had, he made our stay over the top.The house was awesome the lake and the surrounding area was beautiful, if you have kids that like to have fun this place is where you want to be, I have 3 boys 2 teenagers and a 10 year old, we were there for several days and i didn't hear them say they were bored the entire stay.And the price was affordable and worth every penny.This will now be our yearly vacation spot!Thank you Anil you have made some awesome memories for my me and my family and we are definitely looking forward to next year!

READ BEFORE RENTING

This home has great views 100% The lake is awesome 100% NOW READ BELOW!!!! Looks are DESEVIVING the home is in great need of repairs and safety issues not addressed at all. I tried to work with owner and gave him every opportunity to do the right thing after our experience and he choose not to! Pictures, text and info was sent to owner along with a detailed accounting of issues encounter and he decided to ignore and not reply to emails either BTW we are travelers and we have owned lake homes and rented our homes out and NEVER had these issues ever or had to write a review or ask for help with owners this is a first and I am 60 yrs old. Let's start with Owner who confirmed days before trip an early check we were delighted. Got to property for cleaning crew to tell me that owner forgot, cost us 3 hours of extra travel time He then threw cleaners under the bus that they were the issue when the cleaners told us he forgot. The house got 1 star for views ONLY. The list I provided would be BIGGER, but the site only allows so many characters. This homeowner bought in May and rushed to rent it verses having it set up for renters' success. Some of the repairs and safety issues list (not all) MAJOR Issues the 2nd Front entry door when pushed can be entered while appearing to be locked • Front railing needs repair and unusable! • Railing going to game room wobbly and unsafe • Blinds on front door old and tattered and falling off and broken. & literally fell off

Strange layout but overall great

The bedrooms have a strange layout with an addition to the house but has plentyof room, gameroom was great for hanging out and the a/c worked great. The location was the best part with amazing views from the dock.
