This stunning 3 story home is nestled in rapidly changing East Austin landscape. It's proximity to East 6th and 7th means you're in walking distance of the best bars and food Austin has to offer. This home is an excellent choice for guests wanting to stay near Austin’s dynamic city center with very easy access to all locations in and around Austin.

Upon arrival, guests enter into the main living room, furnished with a leather couch, two individual chairs, a smart tv and charming aesthetic.

The floor plan expands into a beautiful kitchen designed for entertaining and culinary creations. The brand new 4 range burner stove is nestled between custom cabinetry and a lovely backsplash.

Filled with light from large windows and high ceilings, this charming kitchen is outfitted with all the bells and whistles and stocked with amenities. As the evening moves from cooking in the kitchen, to dining at the table, to lounging in the living area, this home is purpose built to enjoy the night.

Up the stairs, you will find Bedroom 1 with a cozy queen bed and beautiful ensuite walk-in shower. The second floor also contains Bedroom 2 featuring 2 queen beds and another bathroom with a chic tub.

And if you need space for more, Bedroom 3 is located on the 3rd floor and holds two queen beds and a dedicated work station. This room also includes a PS4 and huge projector screen perfect for a late night movie!

Stepping into the back yard, you'll find a quaint yet spacious area for outdoor dining. After a long night on the town, few things are better than gathering around a table with a glass of wine to reminisce.

This house is in the center of everything Austin has to offer and is short walk from Franklin BBQ, Canje (a James beard semi-finalist), Suerte and Nickel City (included in Esquire's lists of best bars in America).

Guest Access:
We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Portoro Homes uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

You are right in the heart of the East Austin restaurant, bar and entertainment area. A short walk to the East 6th Street and Cesar Chavez options as well as minutes away from Downtown, Rainey Street and South Congress.

Established in the late 1800s, East Austin is steeped in rich history and culture. Cesar Chavez Street, 11th Street, and 6th Street are all hotbeds of dive bars, restaurants, boutique shops, and more. And while “dirty” 6th St. downtown helped solidify Austin’s reputation as “The Music Capital of the World,” it’s East 6th that’s keeping the spirit alive. On any given day, live music can be found in any number of venues - and during SXSW, the neighborhood is transformed into a walkable festival for visitors and residents alike.

To the south is Austin’s famous Lady Bird Lake and boardwalk and to the west is downtown and the infamous Rainey Street. Shady oak trees as old as the neighborhood itself line the streets and colorful homes dot the landscape everywhere you turn. East Austin is the perfect neighborhood to get lost while you stroll looking for good drinks, fine foods, and countless other hidden gems.

Austin is an easy city to get around without a car in this location! Walk, rent a scooter or bike, easy access to Uber/Lyft. Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ridesharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere. The airport is just 15 minutes away.

We also provide guests with a full list of recommendations and services. This information can be found in the House Manual upon check-in.

Other Things to Note:
Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at one of our Portoro Homes are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Portoro.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.
- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.
- Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Austin and the State of Texas requires all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 11%.
- YOU ARE HELPING: A portion of the city hotel tax helps support Austin's musicians and related businesses.
- This home is pet-friendly. Please note, only dogs allowed and 50lb weight limit, up to 2 dogs per stay. $150.00 fee applies, per stay, per pet.
- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.

Interaction with Guests:
Portoro Homes communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 48 hours prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by email/text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7.

We follow the CDC and Airbnb Recommended Cleaning Guidelines. You can rest assured this property has been completely sanitized prior to check-in.

Great Location!

This house was incredible and had everything we needed. If there is one complaint to be had , it would be the efficiency of the heating system. Texas usually isn't cold so I do take that into account for our stay.. Regardless the place was great and I would recommend it to everyone.

Average, I was expecting more

Check in was a breeze. First night we discovered that the lights in the second bedroom were not working. Property manager claimed they worked and when I said they truly didn’t work there was no response. The next night my dad hit his leg on one of the beds in the room and when I tested the lights again they came on. It appears someone came in while we were gone and replaced the light bulbs. I think they should have told us if they were going to fix the lights, if they had perhaps my dad would not have injured his leg. Thankfully there was a first aid kit. The bedrooms only have sheers on the windows which doesn’t give privacy or adequate darkness for sleeping. There were several spiders in the house. There was open food, not sealed in the pantry which will cause bugs. Driveway is not the best but it worked, backing out is tricky. The backyard is not usable a hot mess. Over all I was expecting more from this property. The linens were very clean. We enjoyed the location as several great restaurants are in walking distance, that was it.

Girls Trip

This was a great space and location for a reunion weekend in Austin with friends. Close to lots of restaurants and easy uber into other parts of Austin. The house was clean and well maintained. There are multiple hair dryers and a flat iron! And all the hand soaps, shampoos, etc. are gluten-free (which is awesome for someone with celiac to find in a rental)! The only downfall was that there are no shades or blinds on the bedroom windows. I would recommend this house!

Cozy home in a central location!

This house was perfect for our family of 6! Lots of space (5 beds so could easily accommodate more if people are doubling up) and while not extravagant, had everything we needed. I think the real pro is the super central location and being easily walkable to everything on 11th. Would definitely book again!

Awesome Stay

Great house! Very clean, nice property in a great location. Walking distance to a lot of local establishments in the area & short Uber/Lyft rides (approx $10 or less on most rides) to Rainey St, 6th St and UT campus. Worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults & our needs.
