Golf Trip

Bringing Mom Back Home

We truly enjoyed our stay here and loved the layout, pool and location of the property. It was in a quiet neighborhood, which was great for our purposes of bringing of a family emergency. We would definitely stay here again.

Port St. Lucie Home

Check in was easy and hosts were available when needed. Home was clean and fit our needs well. Wish the pool was heated, but the patio was very nice and we enjoyed sitting out by the pool. Overall a very nice stay.

Weekend Getaway

The house was roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet and the pool. We needed curtains to block out the morning sun and contacted the host. He responded immediately and sent curtains for each bedroom.

Florida getaway

Stayed with another couple for our kids baseball trip. House was very clean and exactly as described. Owners were very responsive . Already planning to stay here again next year

Privacy Counts

The house and the surrounding houses are well maintained, and the neighborhood was quiet when we were there. My code for the front door worked flawlessly and allowed us to enter a small foyer with room to drop our baggage. The kitchen was well appointed with appliances, plates, silverware, cups, glasses, knives, etc., and there seemed to be plenty of starter supplies. I would recommend surveying what is available in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator before food shopping. There's a well-supplied Dollar General about 3 blocks away.There was just my wife and I, so we only used the master bedroom with the king bed, which we found much more comfortable than the bed we had at the local LaQuinta on a previous trip. The ceiling fan was definitely a plus for sleeping as well. Both bathrooms had great water pressure and the handheld showers in both were a big plus. Expect a learning curve when it comes to wall switches, operating the TV's and closing the back patio door.But in my opinion, the best part of the house was the fully screened-in and very PRIVATE pool in the backyard. The backyard is fully fenced and has mature mango trees on both sides and other tropical plants across the back. The combination of the fence and vegetation provide you with great privacy. We usually ended our days with wine on the back patio and then a relaxing swim in the pool. It should be noted that there is really no "shallow" end to this pool, unless you count the sitting shelf off the stairs or by the patio table. Most of the pool is 4 to 5 feet deep, which I found great. Just a little background as to why we chose to stay here. This was our 2nd working trip to the area to clear out a condo in Ft. Pierce, about 20 minutes away. So, we didn't get to fully enjoy the house and pool, but the time we spent there surpassed our expectations. During our first trip we stayed at the local LaQuinta, which provided free breakfast and an outdoor pool, but the bed was hard, and we usually woke up sorer than when we came back from working. And the pool was usually occupied by people we didn't know, and the hours were restrictive. Let's face it, the only real privacy you have at a hotel is when you're in your 300 or so square foot room.There's a lot to be said for staying somewhere that affords you the privacy of your own home, and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip.
