Welcome to the Cozy Corner Retreat, named after the undeniable feeling you will get sitting in the large four-season sunroom and look out, towards the lake.
Whether in need of an escape to disconnect, a space to reconnect, or just a fun little adventure, this place has it all!
Kick back and get cozy in our beautiful 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom Century Home. Located in the heart of Port Burwell, Ontario you are seconds away from a beautiful view of Lake Erie and a 5-minute walk to the main strip and stunning public beach.
Our private 3500 square foot home is ideal for a big multi-generational family rental, 2-3 young families, or a group of friends that want to spend time together.
Situated on 0.7 acres, this property boasts a private fenced in-ground pool, an outdoor patio, a wraparound porch, and a beautiful yard for outdoor games or a fire.
Inside you will find four large, shared-living spaces to facilitate coming together or spreading out over your stay:
- A main floor living room with plenty of seating
- A spacious recreation room at the back of the house, connected to the pool and backyard spaces and
- A beautiful large cornered four-season sunroom (that is so stunning we named our retreat after!)
On the second-floor
- An open office space with a desk & chair
- A sitting room with a pullout couch, TV, and Playstation 3
Meals can be prepared in the bright, open kitchen that overlooks the recreation room & pool area. You can also enjoy outdoor cooking on the BBQ, while you hang out beside the pool.
There is a formal dining room that seats six, a table in the recreation room for another eight, and an outdoor dining table to configure meals, as you wish.
Whether you are looking to reconnect with your family & friends, need some time to disconnect & decompress, want to make new memories, or you are seeking some creative inspiration… you will agree that there is something special about this home.
Inspired by making connections and building community, this home has been a strange series of events, new connections, and an entryway to a new community & unrecognized dream. Built in 1904, I have learned stories of previous owners, their commitments to the community, and discovered generations of renovations. Most recently operating as Nan’s Bed & Breakfast by new friends, Graham & Ann, this home has provided shelter for many.
We don’t want this rental to be a transactional exchange and hope to build a base of folx that will enjoy its history, respect the land that it is built on, participate in the local community of Port Burwell, and contribute to whatever this beautiful, accidental project might grow to become.
