If you love antlers and exposed pine, this is it! The river is very fun and slow to swim in, but we were surprised to find it across the road. We had a hard time finding enough cutlery and dishware - for a house that sleeps 10, it seats 8 to dine and 6 for the outdoor firepit. Every aspect of this arrangement was beautiful, and missing something. The front door keypad doesn't unlock, so don't split up your party unless the key holder is home first! Mattawa was an adorable little town, very friendly and rolled up the sidewalks early.
If you have allergies, there was pet hair on every blanket and the couch - luckily we had a great deal of antihistamines on us! There was nothing technically wrong here, but I would recommend bringing a pot big enough to cook in.
Thank you for having us!
