Welcome to your peaceful family retreat on beautiful Stoney Lake! The cottage is located in a quiet bay across from Fairy Lake Island and a few paddle strokes away from the Lost Channel where you can enjoy wildlife and search for the hidden journal. Enjoy the extensive views of the lake from the dining room or living room while keeping an eye out for the osprey and herons. There is a cozy wood stove if it gets chilly.

The sandy waterfront provides easy entry into the water for swimming. The large grassy lot is perfect for games and perhaps even jumping on the trampoline. Enjoy private dining on the large side deck followed by roasting marshmallows around the fire pit overlooking the bay. There is a good mix of sun and shade throughout the day.

There are 3 kayaks, a canoe, and a stand up paddleboard available for exploring the surrounding area. Along with good fishing in the bay and nearby areas.

Cottage water: from lake – UV and water filtration system – water cooler available in kitchen – there are 2 water jugs at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity

Kitchen details: fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker (filter), toaster, kettle, blender.

BBQ – there are 2 propane tanks at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity

Flat property: grassy on lakefront, rocky/forested in back

Child/elderly friendly

Waterfront: 95 ft

Good swimming: waterfront is maintained by owner for approximately 30’ from the shoreline, however the bay is weedy beyond that point

Sandy shoreline with large flat area for play

Walk-in entry to the water is acceptable for young children or the elderly that may have mobility issues

Some weeds – maintained in the area surrounding the dock – water shoes if preferred, however the swim area by dock is sandy

Dock(s): 25 ft x 3.5 ft (length & width) – water is 4-5 feet at the end of the dock

Dock is large enough to hold up to a 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat

Lake is good for motorboats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.

Private: located in a bay with 5 other cottages, very little boat traffic, mainly kayaks and canoes.
