This lovely, classic Lewes Beach home is located on Bay Avenue just across from the Delaware Bay. The location is exceptional and only a few steps from the water. This charming cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms as well as a large sunroom; perfectly set up, allowing space for family and friends alike. A morning stroll along the water will certainly help to relax and start the day out right. An afternoon bike ride could take you in the direction of Cape Henlopen State Park where your can enjoy the bike trail over to Rehoboth Beach or in the direction of Historic Downtown Lewes for some shopping and a bite to eat. Great location

So easy to pop down to the bay to swim, walk, and play. Lots of space in house to hang out and visit. Decent kitchen for cooking meals together.

Cute cottage with excellent location

The cottage like property is very cute and the beach access is what makes this a great choice for your family vacation. The master bedroom headboard was broken and made noises with every turn. Hopefully that will be fixed for future guests. The house is attached to a larger home. When guests arrived there you could hear them clearly from the master bedroom. The main problems we encountered were related to property management. For instance, the property was generally clean. However it was obvious not thoroughly cleaned. In particular the bathrooms. The shower shelves and hanging caddies were dirty. Small area rugs were not clean. The air conditioner did not provide good circulation to each room and oddly every single vent was closed upon arrival. Took awhile to figure that out! We also booked a linen package, but it was not provided. The company made it right, but the staff member that took care of it was clearly annoyed that we did not realize it until the evening when we went to shower and go to bed. Overall, wonderful little place in a beautiful quiet beach town!

Lewes Long Weekend

The cottage had lots of light and we enjoyed the various sitting areas for coffee, drinks and conversation. The beds were comfy. You can't beat the location with the beach access right across the little lane. We would have likd the outside shower to be hooked up and working, but since it wasn't super hot beach weather it wasn't too big a problem. The rental agency planned to have it addressed right away. We appreciated being able to bring our sweet doggo.
