The main floor has a modern kitchen fully stocked with all the kitchen accessories and spices you would need to make a gourmet meal. There is a comfortable television room with WIFI, cable and Netflix. The main floors open concept also has two couches with ocean views for relaxing and a dinning table seating six.
Outdoor space includes patio table and chairs, a barbeque, propane fireplace and a fenced in back lawn.
Right behind the property is Grandon creek watershed hiking trail, going through a spectacular Vancouver Island rainforest - massive cedars, ferns and salmon spawning in the fall. Perfect for trail running or relaxing hiking.
Mornings for me, are walking across the street with my coffee and sitting on a beach log, watching the waves and seabirds. Winter is my favorite time - the storms are spectacular! Oysters can be plucked from the beach - I can text you my amazing broiled sirracha oyster receipt!! (check local regulations for closures). Amazing beach walking at low tide.
Great restaurants - German and Deez - pub style (best fish'n chips) are 5min walk to the north and on the southbeach, a short walk - Seafood, pubs, and Chinese restaurants - all on island hwy just of beach, all walking distance. **** minimum stay 30 days as per local rental bylaws***
