Great location, terrible customer service
We stayed at the Westward Ho 510 for the Country Calling festival. It was quite pricey, b/c of the event, but it seemed like the best option. Check in was 4pm which I thought was a little late. The entry into the building was beyond confusing. I had to call and have someone help me through it. We had to find a numbered lockbox in a cluster of hanging lockbox’s on the side to enter the lobby, but all the lockbox’s were worn & barely legible. We stayed 3 days & 3 nights. We didn’t have a parking pass & someone from the hotel said they would be by in 30 mins to drop one off & we ended up waiting 2 hours. We noticed that most of the pillows were stained & the beds were dirty with sand but we just cleaned them off & put clean sheets on them because we didn’t want to have to wait again & waste our first night. In the morning, my bf went to make coffee and the coffee pot had a used filter in it and was infested with mold. The shower wouldn’t drain properly, we pulled the stopper up and it was clogged with someone’s hair and grime. We left for the festival early & had no service all day. We got in late, so I texted them the next morning to let them know. They said they would send over a new coffee pot & clean the drain while we were at the festival but I wasn’t comfortable with that, plus we would be leaving the next morning anyways. I asked for a cleaning fee refund (which is 11% of what I paid) and they refused and said “mistakes happen” & texted me very unprofessionally
