Satisfying

Was nice and location was good for what we wanted to do. The room only had one key card for room which made it inconvenient for the most part. The pool and gym was not open enough. The bbq’s that were provided thru out the grounds was nice to have but needed to be cleaned a bit more. Also fridges in rooms should be bigger but overall was a good stay

Family weekend

I stayed with my husband and children for 2 nights Friday-Sunday. The check in was as explained and easy. The room was clean and sleeping arrangements were as advertised. The main issue was the fridge that was in the room was not working. All our groceries had to be thrown out as the condo lister said it was the on-site management’s issue to fix. Then the management said it was the owner of the condo’s responsibility, with all the back and forth the owner was finally able to get her husband to reach out to us the next day (Saturday)to bring a fridge. We were going to check out on Sunday and since the husband said he’s 3 hours away I said to not bother bringing a fridge as my family already had to waste all the groceries bought the Friday which already went bad. Second issue was I went to the front desk on Friday to ask about swimming because the website listing said to pre-register, the front desk woman said you could just come with no need to register. The second day we got prepared for a family swim and we were told by the front desk there was no more time because all the hours were booked up. I explained to the same woman that she told us the day before she doesn’t take registrations and now it’s booked up somehow, and all the reply was “I’m sorry, try again tomorrow”. Unfortunately, the next day was our check out so that was disappointing, especially since the pool was the main reason I booked this place for my children.

If you’re looking for some quiet time away from the hustle & bustle, this is a great place. It’s a 5-min drive to Horseshoe Valley Resort where you can find dining options and outdoor activities.

Getaway

Stayed for two nights had a wedding close by on the Saturday, cute condo clean has everything you need for a night away. bbqs not to far away to use to cook there is even a fire pit to sit around and have a fire. The pool is nice but the hours suck as like everywhere short staff so the hours change depending on life guard availability.

Nice but call outs

Park and grounds were good. Lots to do locally. HQ restaurant in CraigHurst is recommended. Room was sufficient. Outdoor fire pit is great and right beside the park. If you have kids that is convenient. Calls outs for future guests: - pool can only be booked for 1 hour per day. They only let 10 people in at a time. Pool also has limited hours of operation. - you share an entry way with the unit beside you. Nothing major here but the opening and closing of the doors is loud. It wakes up children and disturbs dogs if yours is a barker. Also walls are pretty thin. If the guests in the other unit were loud it might be uncomfortable. -limited toilet paper. You only get two rolls. If you want more we were told to go buy it or wait for a cleaner then next day. Kerry was very responsive and nice. If you are just using it for sleeping it is great.
