Nice to look at but needs some improved functionality
The house is very aesthetically pleasing but in the course of our 3 night stay it was almost like the house is staged to look great but misses basic functionality, especially in the first floor bathroom which needs a cabinet for extra towels, a hair dryer and single use toiletries like soap; a shelf/hanging thing to put shower stuff; hooks on a wall. Storage outside of the kitchen is also an issue, there are no places to hang anything, the closets had no rods; dressers of some sort would also be nice. The bedrooms were stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep no matter what the air was set on downstairs (ceiling fans upstairs could help with this) and if you opened the windows for air you couldn't sleep due to the almost constant road noise day and night. The house is not set back at all like the picture looks but is right on a heavily traveled road. The beds were not particularly comfortable, the one in the room with the lights on the bed was actually lumpy and made my back hurt. The large "office" would be much better utilized as a lower level bedroom. The positives were that communication was great and we were allowed to check in early which was REALLY appreciated; it was nice to have chargers all over the house, the TV was amazing and the kitchen was well equipped (although it is always nice to have K-cups provided as other properties do). Again, the house overall was very nice to look at but not really up to par on functioning especially for the price point. Overall:3.5.
