Entire cabin hosted by Zulema and Geiner.

The property is exclusive to each family, secured, gated, and central to all activities. The cabin is located 5 min from La Fortuna and has a marvellous view of the famous Arenal Volcano. One of the main attractions is the Forest and access to the River at the back of the property. We have WI-Fi, Sky TV, indoor and outdoor dining with a Bbq area surrounded by flowers, birds, and butterflies.

Great place near la Fortuna

Great stay at the Cabin. A bit tough to find at first but, once there the host and property manager were so incredibly kind and accommodating. Truly a pleasure to stay there!

Family vacation

This VRBO was conveniently located for our planned activities. The size was good for our family of 7. The jungle noises were wonderful and peaceful. The large garden was nice for the kids to run around and explore. It could use some more hooks to hang stuff and a plug for the kitchen sink. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Beautiful location a short drive to La Fortuna

Clean, comfortable & spacious. Gorgeous river on property with steps down to it & a bench for viewing. The sounds of the rain & the river made for relaxing, restful sleep. If I have the opportunity to come back, I would definitely stay here again. Wendy helped us to get settled first night & was very friendly & helpful.

Lovely cabin by a river

The host helped us book this at the last minute after another rental fell through, and we were so grateful. Nice porch overlooking a river. Our kids had fun splashing in the river as well. They helped us with laundry and checked on us several times during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Very thoughtful hosts. Lovely property.

Great spot.

I enjoyed walking to the panaderia each morning for fresh bread and milk. Other than a few too many ants, it was a great place to stay!

Beautiful deck over looking the River and jungle where you could watch nature. There was a sloth who was there everyday napping in a tree, iguanas, and birds. We were close to town and could walk to a little store. Beautiful view of the volcano. One of the locals

We were immersed into the neighborhood or the local La fortuna residences and close to the town and tour activities. We stayed with our 2 daughters, 10 and 12, while there is no AC, it cools off enough in the evening to be perfectly comfortable. There is a small market near by for basics. The yard is beautifully kept and Zuelema is very communicative when gardeners came to work. There is a river near by that we got to meet some of the locals and play in the water away from the tourist areas. Found lizards and butterflies surrounding us during our time there. Our girls loved the adventure.

Very rustic

The setting is ok, but no hot water in bathrooms. No mirrors in downstairs bathrooms. No hot water in kitchen. No oven. Wash machine was advertised but not recommended to use. Extremely hard property to find, Upstairs deck was wonderful. Many holes in the walls. No glass windows, just screens. I wouldn’t stay here again.

A quiet slice of Arenal’s abundance

EN - Zulema and her family provided the perfect place for my father and I to enjoy a few days near the Arenal Volcano. This property is tucked away in a very peaceful neighborhood 2 miles just outside of the La Fortuna’s town center. The cabin has a total of 4 beds, ample living area, kitchen, fridge, washing machine, private shower, and an amazing hammock. The surrounding vegetation provides center stage for ample bird activity in the mornings, great while enjoying a good cup of coffee. There’s a small natural water stream that runs along the back side of the property. At sundown those water sounds along with the nocturnal animal activity will sure provide a good starting point for a great restful night. ES - Zulema y su familia brindaron el lugar perfecto para que mi padre y yo disfrutáramos de unos días cerca del Volcán Arenal. Esta propiedad está escondida en un vecindario muy tranquilo a 3,3 km en las afueras del centro La Fortuna. La cabaña tiene un total de 4 camas, sala amplia, cocina, nevera, lavadora, ducha privada y una hamaca increíble. La vegetación circundante da un escenario central para una amplia actividad de aves en las mañanas, brindando una gran experiencia mientras disfruta de una buena taza de café. Hay un pequeño arroyo de agua natural que corre a lo largo de la parte trasera de la propiedad, cuando se pone el sol, esos sonidos junto con la actividad nocturna de los animales proporcionarán un buen punto de partida para una gran noche de descanso.

Au calme !

Maisonnette loin de l'agitation du centre. Petite terrasse en hauteur à l'arrière du bâtiment, parfaite pour se reposer au son de la nature. Suggestion d'amélioration : le hamac de la terrasse pourrait être remplacé et nous aurions aimé avoir une surface de cuisson pour cuire des pâtes...
