Perfect Cape Cottage Getaway

This Cape Cottage was and everything I hoped it would be! A sweet little oasis to rest and spend time with my family. Close to all amenities, and the neighborhood was peaceful despite being directly off of route 28. I would love to stay here again!

Mini Vacation at the Cape

This was a somewhat last-minute rental for a short-term stay at the Cape, and I wasn't sure what to expect but we were more than pleasantly surprised to find that not only was it a great location - convenient to many things, but the cottage was also perfectly decorated and super cozy and clean. We also thoroughly enjoyed the exterior amenities including the outdoor shower, gas grill and patio furniture. Mini golf and ice cream were right across the street, as well as a package store, but the yard still felt private. There was even a family of rabbits living there and we also spotted an Opossum AND a skunk during our stay! If we had any complaints, it was only that it was a tight fit for 5 people. The breakfast nook/dining area only had 4 chairs and the bathroom is very small with no really good place to store towels, especially when you have to bring your own or rent them, but we made do. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Adorable and fun!

We loved this adorable and clean beach house! The outdoor shower was a huge perk! The walk to the beach took us about 20 minutes and we went through adorable homes and felt very safe on our walks with limited traffic and clean neighborhoods. We loved that this was a 1 minutes walk to Skull Island minigolf, the arcade, go carts and driving range, and if our kids were old enough to be alone/cross a street they would absolutely love to be able to go there if they wanted to explore on their own! The power went out one night which was due to an issue in the area, and we were able to text the emergency number which got us a quick response with helpful information! Our only suggestions for improving would be some clarifications on some of the directions/information re: where to access entry with the key code, where the linens go at check out, and beach supplies we had access to in the shed. The only additions that would have helped would be a cutting board and more functional dressers. We did have to do some baby proofing but it was not a problem. We ultimately loved this beach house and want to build our own outdoor shower! The pamphlet with all of the recommendations was a huge help!
