Nice property, convenient location for what we needed. Great communication with host! Loved the natural surroundings. Nice forest preserve with trails at end of street. We will stay again if needed when we visit family locally. Thanks again!

An Exceptional Christmas Stay!

Our family had a wonderful Christmas stay at this property. The space exceeded our expectations – the photos truly don't capture its full charm and comfort. The large backyard was a hit with both the kids and our dogs, providing ample room for play and relaxation. The tranquility of the neighborhood, coupled with its safety, made our stay truly enjoyable. The host responsiveness and helpfulness made us feel at home. We are already planning our next visit! Highly recommended

Beautiful home, great location

Overall a great experience! My husband, 2 teen children, adult son elderly mother stayed at this home for 9 days over Christmas. The home is beautiful, in an amazing location in the West Suburbs, close to the Forest Preserve. A very unique area! The home is cute and has a lot of charm and character! The communication with the host was very prompt. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. The kids loved the backyard for playing in the snow and the pool table. A couple of things travelers looking into this property need to know:- The home is most appropriate for a couple with 2-3 kids or friends that would be ok sleeping in same room. As of today (12/30), the listing says there is a dbl futon, other pages say sofa bed, 2 queen beds a twin bed. We booked the listing based on this arrangement. Please note, *there is no double futon/sofa bed.* There is a couch with a wider chaise in the living room but it is definitely not a sofa bed. My husband I instead slept on an air mattress for 9 nights in the kitchen/pool table area. I would say this sleeps 2 in one BR, and 3 in another that all have to be comfortable sleeping in the same space. We would absolutely not have booked this property if we had known about this. - No access to garage or upstairs - no issue, just FYI.- No washer and dryer, and we had to ration towels between 6 ppl for 9 days. So bring extra!Again overall a great experience, great home and area! Definitely recommend!

Cozy and Quiet

We had to make an unscheduled trip out to visit some family having some health issues. Due to the short notice we had to take our dogs with is. We were so lucky to have found this property and it was available for our dates. The house was super cozy and clean. The kitchen was stocked and even though we didn't actually do any cooking there we definitely had everything needed if we did. It was so much more comfortable than a cramped hotel with two teenagers. Next time we come out I hope we can rent this property again. The host stayed in contact and answered any questions we had.

Fit Our Needs

This property fit our needs. Good amount of space with my spouse, myself, and 2 dogs. There was something wrong where the Vrbo email did not give check in instructions and I had to contact the property manager. Gloria was communicative through text. On our last day there was miscommunication and the construction company was doing work, which woke us up. I messaged Gloria and she resolved it right away. She even let us do a later check out for the inconvenience. We would stay again after the construction work is completed.
