Aspen Grove, brought to you by Mountain Vacation Lodging, will become your new home away from home. This multistory property features a solarium sitting room, multiple decks, 2 living areas and complete serenity in the woods just 3 miles outside of Woodland Park. Guests will feel close enough to modern amenities, yet far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of modern day life. Working from home is also an option as one of the downstairs bedrooms has a desk already set up. Larger groups can gather together in the open concept living room/kitchen area or some folks can head to the downstairs living/TV room for some time away. We do allow dogs at our home so look forward to hosting guests and their four legged friend.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
– From the driveway, walk up 2 steps and down an outdoor corridor to the front door
– Parking – Up to 4 vehicles should fit in the driveway, as long as it isn't 4 huge vehicles. One trailer might be able to fit, depending on the size. Please contact us if you are planning on bringing a trailer and we can confirm if it will fit.
– 4WD/AWD or vehicles with chains may be required to access this property when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
​​​​​​​** Pets & Fees - “Pet Friendly” means Dog Friendly only. If a property is pet friendly, then a per pet, per night fee will apply. Some online booking sites, such as VRBO, do not allow us to list the maximum number of pets per property. If you are renting a pet friendly property, and will have more than one dog, please reach out prior to booking to verify if the home will allow more than one dog. Additional fees will apply for more than 1 dog.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. ** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on. If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc.

Comfortable, Affordable, charming!

The cabin was better than expected. Very clean and quiet. The multi-level offered choices for temperature control also. The porch was an added bonus with beautiful views of aspens adorned by their fall colors. Location was supreme for our purposes and the security lighting outside made coming in late safer. We would stay again…..

Great visit to this area

The house was perfect for our family to stay together and visit. We had a family wedding to attend but also visited many sites and restaurants in Woodland Acres , Rode on the Train to the top of Pike’s Peak!!

Beautiful mountain location

Beautiful mountain location. We happen to be there after water damage in one of the basement rooms so I had to sleep on a pull out couch. I knew that ahead of time but too late to change reservation. Overall the house was amazing but musty smelling basement and housekeeping did not do a good job of cleaning before we arrived. We cleaned the house and all was good.

The cabin is in a great location. Very peaceful, the cabin is very clean, very well stocked with personal amenities. The owners were very available for any questions. My wife and I would recommend this property to anyone staying in this area of Colorado.

Nice Home

We enjoyed our visit. The location of this home is great. Everything was clean and well kept. We only had a few minor things that I will suggest to the owner for future guests. Nothing that upset our stay at all. 1) Provide a few more extra towels, especially in the kitchen -there was inly a single dish rag and dish towel. 2) Some instructions on how to work the televisions/streaming services, etc. We were a bit lost as we tried to figure out how to watch some tv. 3) Clearer instructions about the trash - one thing said we should put it in garage (which was locked and we didn't have access to) and another thing said put it outside in the can at the tree. No issues with either, just confusing to have contradicting instructions. 4) Note in the house said ice maker was broke amd part was on order (no problem, I understand these break). Note also said a bag of ice was in the freezer. There was no bag of ice in the freezer. All in all, a great stay! Thanks!

Wish we had WiFi for the entire stay

We had WiFi for the first two days then it was lost. I was in touch with vrbo and property manager but they were not quick to respond and didn’t get any kind of conoenstation for lost WiFi. I also found dead mouse next to router when trying to reset internet.
