Comfortable stay in Vail
This condo is centrally located in Lionshead (Vail) - just a 2-minute walk to the gondola. The free buses and a well-stocked small market are only a few steps away. The condo was clean and modern inside, albeit a little tight, especially around the one bathroom area. Four people would be comfortable with the king and fold-down Murphy beds. Everything in the condo worked properly. The only items that need attention are the entry are and some more hangers.
Entry is right across from the elevator through an odd small shared hallway with the adjacent unit. There is an outer door with a keypad however the door jamb was missing (kicked in?) so the door could not be locked. There is a second keypad lock on the inside door to the unit. The single light in the hallway was missing its globe and, although it is motion activated, when exiting the unit it does not come on until you already step into the dark hallway. The whole hallway could also use a fresh coat of paint.
There is a long bar for hanging clothes in the bedroom, however there were only four hangers - an easy item to take care of.
Parking was easy and convenient under the condo. We never had trouble finding a space, but that might be different in the peak winter season as there are definitely not enough spaces for the number of units in the six-story building.
All-in-all we had an enjoyable time and would recommend this property for your stay.
