Für diejenigen ohne Auto bringt Sie ein 10-minütiger Spaziergang die Auffahrt hinunter zum Bus, der alle 2 Stunden zwischen Montezuma und Cobano fährt.
Das voll möblierte Haus verfügt über zwei große Schlafzimmer mit zwei Bädern. Herrliche 360-Grad-Aussicht auf die Küste, das offene Meer, die Berge und den Dschungel / Wald. Das Land wird als "Wildlife Sanctuary" verwaltet - daher kommen alle Arten von Vögeln und Tieren und leben hier in Sicherheit, fern von Hunden, Katzen und Jägern. Die einzigen Geräusche hier oben sind die der Vögel, aller drei Affenarten sowie des Ozeans und des Flusses. Die Tiere, mit denen wir leben, sind: Mapache (Waschbär), Pizoten (Coatimundi), Faultiere, Affen, Stachelschwein, Ameisenfresser, Aracaris (Verwandte von Tukanen), Guatusos und Tepezcuintles, alle Arten von Vögeln und eine Fülle von Schmetterlingen und Kolibris .
Gleich vor dem Eingang führt ein Weg hinunter zum berühmten Fluss Montezuma (ca. 50 m unterhalb). Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie gute Gummisohlen, Wandersandalen und einen Spazierstock mitbringen, damit Sie problemlos den Weg hinunterwandern und im Fluss spazieren und von Stein zu Stein springen können (Flip-Flops reichen dafür einfach nicht aus ). Dieser wunderschöne Fluss hat reichlich Wasserfälle (von klein bis riesig), unterschiedlich große Schwimmlöcher, Brüllaffen, Spinnen- und Weißgesichtsaffen sowie alle Arten von Vögeln und Tieren. Man kann sich leicht den Fluss hinunter zu den berühmten, riesigen Montezuma-Wasserfällen schlängeln, zu denen alle Touristen gehen (indem man von der Straße unten in der Stadt aufwärts wandert). Da wir jedoch ungefähr 1 Kilometer flussaufwärts sind, von wo aus sich alle Touristen versammeln, haben unsere Gäste den Fluss hier oben direkt unter der Villa für sich und verbringen oft den ganzen Tag mit ihrem Picknick-Mittagessen und einem guten Buch.
