DO NOT STAY HERE - be warned!!! Avoid at all costs.
The worst property experience ever. There was blood on the walls, a pool that was dark green and covered in a dirty film, it was so murky you can not see the bottom of the pool. Litter left around the house and pool area. Stains on the couch, a thick layer of dust everywhere and the home hvac has thick greasy dust all over it. There is literally no was any cleaning company or pool person has been near this property in months. The owner will say they have, will offer to send them around but they won’t. There are electric outlets exposed and a broken sliding door lock/handle. VRBO were of no use telling us to vacate the property as it was a safety hazard but then doing nothing to assist. The owner refuses to offer any kind of refund just stated repeatedly they he would send cleaners back around, but believe me the house would take days to clean properly it is SO bad. So that’s not a resolution that works on a 1 week rental. The pool needs draining and refilling, there is no quick fix on it how it is. I’m sure the owner will put a rebuttal to my review but do not believe him. Avoid this rental. VRBO should delist it to be honest.

Please DO NOT STAY HERE.
I don’t even know where to start, the very first day we got to the house the AC unit was not working and was blowing hot air. The home was 106 degrees inside the home.canceled our plans as we waited for them to fix the issue. several hours they sent a tech to come fix the issue and two days later long behold the issue occurred again.canceled another set of plans as we waited til 10:40 pm for them to fix the issue told the kids to get into the pool to cool off at least when we noticed the pool in pretty bad condition.Pool was full of bugs and looked like it had not been cleaned full of dark musty substance . called the host on the pool issues told her the jacuzzi was not working as well. She then stated the jacuzzi was an added feature and we had to pay 100 dollars a night to use it. as I would have never got a home that charged to use the jets on a jacuzzi. She said she would allow us to use the heat and jets due to the issue with the Ac unit. I agreed was informed the pool guy would come out and show me how to set up the settings. NEVER HAPPENED NEVER SAW THE DUDE. She then Stated he came at 6am and cleaned the pool .Pool was not clean and jacuzzi on a Day to day basis depleted all water and therefore was not used and even burned my daughters leg with the depleted water and jet that went off . Never resolved anything even today as I checked out no resolution and care in the world asked to speak to owner several times and apparently we can’t speak to Dave either.

Terrible house
Terrible house and owner. Never stay here. We went to the house to check in and it had been broken into and burglarized. Owner refused to take responsibility. Still will not contact us. Asked for a refund due to not feeling save in a house where the door was crowbared open and they have refused to respond. Very bad managment group. I would not rent any home assoicated with this group again.

Perfect House
We have stayed in other StayWithDave properties before and always come back. The pool and jacuzzi were refreshing. All the furniture was brand new. Check in and out was a breeze. There was plenty of parking for us, the kids, and the other couple we were with. We cooked a lot of food and played with the outdoor games. We really love the Tulum inspired backyard. We will definitely be coming back!!!
