Auch bekannt als Kapitänsquartiere. Günstig gelegen auf halbem Weg zwischen dem Seward kleinen Bootshafen und Seward's historischen Innenstadt. Beide sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entlang einer Küstenstraße, die nur einen Block von der Haustür entfernt ist. Der Weg ist Teil des ursprünglichen Iditarod Trails. Sehr sauber und privat mit 2 Schlafzimmern, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, WLAN, DirectTV / DVD, Waschmaschine und Trockner und einem Grill. Diese Einheit hat auch eine Futon-Couch, die sich flach zusammenfalten lässt und ein bis zwei weitere Personen schlafen kann. Bringt die Summe auf 6 Personen. A great location to all the fun things to do in Seward. It was a perfect rest spot for my daughter and I. Walkable to the docks.

Beautiful views from living room window

Beautiful views and one block from the inlet. Enjoyed a walk around the area was very peaceful and safe. When I am back in Seward I will definitely stay here again…

The property was very clean and tidy and included most of the typical necessities. A huge bonus was the included washer and dryer.

great location

Please don't judge a book by its cover! The area and outside is a little weathered, but the inside was clean and the amenities were top of the line. It was a perfect location to the marina for early morning fishing trips

Sweet sanctuary

My room had a window that opened and it was a cool breeze and very quiet. We had a sweet reunion with family. We were so happy and grateful to be here in beautiful surroundings and to be close to the beach was superb! Thank you!!

Very comfortable and convenient!

This well-equipped home was perfect for the 4 of us women. I slept on the couch, which wasn’t as comfortable as the beds, but the home was well-equipped in the kitchen, had a washer and dryer, and was located near downtown and the harbor. We needed bedding for the couch and owners were very responsive in bringing it over.

Cozy, small unit a block from the water which was great for walking! The unit was a little rough around the edges though, not as clean and well kept as I expected for the price. The kitchen and laundry was much appreciated. Worked just fine for our group but wasnt amazing.

Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed our night at this property. The location was perfect for whatever a guest would choose to do in Seward. We centered our visit around a cruise of Kenai Fjords and we could reach the small boat harbor quickly. Consider this property for your visit to Seward!

I don’t wanna say the wrong thing about this property. Everything was clean, and it was very close to everything you could want in Seward. The location left a lot to be desired. It is close to the water, but is more than less ideal. You look out of the picture window, at a less than desirable property within about 30 feet.

This was a neat, quiet property. It was close to a nice walking path that skirted the harbor area. The apartment was neat and tidy, and the lawn was freshly mown. I would recommend this spot and stay here again!

Two day trip to Seward

Nice cozy place and clean. Seward is not a big town so this home is placed perfectly between the docks and downtown. The bedrooms are tight but we weren’t in Alaska to hang out in a house.

Fabulous

Tim and Bri have a beautiful home nestled in Seward, and within walking distance to everywhere. My son had his wedding at Miller’s Landing and this was a quick 10 minute drive to the location. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities.

Good: Communication with the property manager was great. He even allowed us to add one extra person to the reservation after we booked. He was amazing by allowing us to check in as soon as we got off the train which was so incredibly helpful. We received the code at an appropriate time before check in. It is 1 block from the bay and approximately 2 blocks from the cities free shuttle. People in the neighborhood seemed very nice and even offered us a ride when they saw us pulling our luggage. Bad: It was pouring down rain and we had to trek our luggage 2 blocks from the free shuttle, up hill. 3 of us are younger and it wasn't such and issue, but we had our mothers with us so that made things more challenging. The trailer was a bit run down but to be honest we were in a small Alaskan town so its different than a big city. The cleaning left a bit to be desired. There was a huge cobweb in the main bedroom, a dirty hand towel on the bathroom sink that I'm assuming the cleaning crew just forgot and the front bedroom and bathroom windows were left wide open so one of the beds had a huge wet spot from the rain pouring in. The neighbors wake early and are very chatty so since we shared a wall, we too were up early.

My stay dates got messed up

For some reason, my stay dates got messed up and I was scheduled for days I didn’t request. Indeed, those were days I never would have requested as I was out of state. I paid and tried to connect with VRBO. I admit I hadn’t checked the initial confirmation, but have never before had such a problem with VRBO. So we had no place to stay. Never again will I use the service and recommend that others beware.

The hostess did not communicate after I emailed her. I had to call her. Then she gave me the wrong apartment. She gave me the code and I walked in and there were other people's belongings in the apartment. She gave me another place but the whole place smelled old and stale. Both bedrooms smelled like urine and sweat. The bathroom was moldy. It was too late to get a different night stay because everything was booked up. The old building is actually a doublewide trailer or manufactured home. I would not recommend this place.
