This cabin is located in a beautiful cove lined with giant spruce trees and a lovely pond. Go fishing or feed the fish, enjoy the onsite private hot tub and grills, sit on the porch swing and listen to nature, view various wild life, and relax and sleep in utmost cleanliness and comfort! The unit includes a full kitchen, a loft with a full bath and the master bedroom with a full bath on the main floor. This listing is for the upstairs portion only. There is a grill, a lovely porch for relaxing and a wrap around deck complete with a hot tub on the second level and for your private use. The setting is private and peaceful and within walking distance to Sky Valley Country Club where you are free to use the amenities which include Tennis, pickle ball, an Olympic size pool and hot tub. There are also lovely hiking trails and miles of walking area for those exercise enthusiasts! The fitness center is available for use as well. You will not find a cleaner or more relaxing home for your vacation!

Amazing cabin

I had such an amazing time in this cabin. Plenty of room, great amenities including hot tub while watching deer graze. King bed super comfortable, I slept like a baby. Cozy fireplace. Highly recommend. Host was amazing too, I could have talked to her forever super knowledgeable about the area

The perfect place

The house is very well kept, clean and supplied with everything you need. Very cozy place. The bed is fantastic, sheets and towels of excellent quality. Kitchen utensils and appliances are well stocked. We had a great time there. The owner is responsive and attentive to every request. Also very friendly. We were just a couple. But there is plenty of room for more. I highly recommend it for a small group.

Great location, cabin and communication

We booked the cabin for Thanksgiving week…The whole booking process, adding an additional night, and any/all questions I had was handle great!! Best communication I’ve ever had with a VRBO rental. Highly recommend the cabin. Fully stocked, great location, clean and Beautiful!

End of Summer Golf Getaway

The home was immaculate inside and out. There were no issues at all while I was there and everything was just as described in the listing. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Sky Valley area then I would highly recommend this property. 5-Stars!!!

Beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains

Quiet area. Beautiful cabin that is decorated for coziness and comfort! Outside view is gorgeous. The host, Julie, was very quick to respond with any questions we had and quick to resolve any issue we had! We loved feeding the fish in the pond and we even saw a bear! Will definitely be back!

Great Cabin’

Highly recommend, we had a wonderful stay and are planning to return. The cabin was super clean, cozy and comfortable. Host was super to work with. Lots of stuff to do nearby.

Mountain Top Retreat

Julie is the most accommodating host we have ever had! Her house is absolutely beautiful…with everything you could ever need. She has two properties divided by a small pond at the end of a street, in the woods. Both would be perfect for a family reunion or get together. We will definitely be back!!

I grew up in Dallas, Texas then moved to Florida for most years of my life. In 2022 I moved to Scaly Mountain full time because it’s too hot in Florida and I LOVE this area! I enjoy helping my guests achieve their goal of an inviting, comfortable, clean and peaceful place to stay as they step away from the routine of life for some rest and relaxation.

Bumble Bee Cabin is located within walking distance to the Sky Valley community. There are miles of areas to safely walk, the Sky Valley amenities for use, and the beauty of the five acre property I get or call home! The cabin is also located about 20 minutes from Highlands, Franklin and Clayton. Highlands Outpost and the Highlands Zip line are about five minutes away. The Vineyard Winery is just over the mountain in the back yard!

Bumble Bee Cabin is located on five peaceful mountain acres with a pond located between the two vacation rentals on the property. The sister property is Dragonfly Cottage which will also sleep 6 up to 10. Both properties are designer decorated with beautiful porches which overlook the pond with a relaxing fountain. The property is lined with a mountain stream which often draws wildlife like deer, ground hogs, bobcats, bear and various birds. The fall foliage on the property is incredibly beautiful!
