Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Lage
Underwhelming
Great location, we stayed 3 days but not sure we would rent again. We arrived to a musty smell , not great , but this did improve once the AC cranked up; the AC is terrific. This rental is dark and dated but the kitchen and bathrooms are updated and pleasant and they were clean. The kitchen is an unorganized hodge podge of stuff, needs a good inventory done, I don't expect the owner has been there in years. Among other things ,it lacks adequate bowls and forks, and a decent dish drying rack. The recreation room seems cool in the listing , but does not deliver , lots of games didn't work , the pool table cues broken(no tips on all but one), no chalk, and the table is not level, also there is no AC in the rec room. The back deck was dirty and leaf covered and not sure if it's altogether safe with splintered boards and soft spots. Also, the grill area was not clean; the grill itself was clean and functioned OK. We did not have WiFi during our stay, the local rental management did attempt to ameliorate but were unable. If they had proactively checked things prior to our stay it likely would have been resolved before we arrived. Red Awning /Yosemite Region Resorts gave us a $100.00 credit but I feel this was inadequate. I expect this all sounds negative but overall it got the job done and we had a pleasant stay exploring Yosemiteand the area. . We don't mind spending the money for a nice quality rental , and that's what we expected , however, we were disappointed.
