Unser Woodstock House befindet sich auf einem fast 2 Hektar großen Grundstück und bietet sowohl Privatsphäre als auch Komfort. Das Woodstock Green ist nur 2, 5 Meilen entfernt, doch von unserem Haus aus hören Sie das Rauschen des Sawkill River und des Baches, der unser Land halbiert. Unser Woodstock House ist ein großartiger Ort, um die Gegend zu erkunden. In der Nähe finden Sie Flussröhren, Wandern, Skifahren, Einkaufen und wundervolle Restaurants. Sie können sich aber auch bei uns zu Hause entspannen. Unser Haus ist für Familien konzipiert - wir haben eine Menge Spielzeug und Spiele für Kinder, und Sie müssen sich keine Sorgen machen, alle benötigten Accessoires mitzunehmen: Wir haben einen Hochstuhl, ein Tor und ein Gepäckstück spielen und mehr zur Verfügung.

Wir kauften unser Haus in Woodstock, NY, nachdem wir mehrere Jahre hintereinander an Levon Helms Midnight Ramble teilgenommen hatten und uns in die Gegend verliebt hatten. Unser Woodstock House ist nicht nur eine Ferienwohnung - es ist der Rückzugsort unserer Familie und wir haben es so eingerichtet, dass es bequem für unsere und Ihre Familie ist. In der gut sortierten Küche lässt es sich wunderbar kochen, und der Raum eignet sich perfekt zum Teilen mit anderen. Der Küchentisch bietet bequem Platz für 8 Erwachsene, und wir haben einen Klapptisch und Stühle für 6 weitere, wenn Sie eine Menschenmenge aufnehmen. Es gibt zwei separate Sitzecken mit bequemen Sofas zum Entspannen mit Freunden. Alle Betten sind bequem und in gutem Zustand und wir bieten alle erforderlichen Bettwäsche und Handtücher.

Great Location

We had a wonderful vacation. The house served it's purpose, mostly just for cooking and sleeping. The location was great for local and short distance activities. We saw deer, a bear and a snake eating a frog. Everyone had a good time.

Our 2024 trip

Had a great time, the pool was awesome and the hot tub was even better. Loved the fully stocked kitchen it really helped us with our meals for the week. Host was quick to answer and understanding during one issue, which was corrected fast and efficient. Wont lie the septic smell was unpleasant outside but we managed. Other than updating some pictures i would say id recommend anyone to stay and enjoy a week! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay at this Woodstock house with extended family! Kids enjoyed using the pool and swing set everyday. Parents enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Great location, close to downtown Woodstock with many nice restaurants and local hiking spots in the Hudson valley. Would definitely go back!

Fabulous rental, everything young kids could want!

Family friendly home in Woodstock

We stayed at Our Woodstock Home last weekend. It is a beautiful home, and it is kid friendly. It is in a peaceful wooded setting, and comes with all the amenities. The kids had a great time there and had plenty to do: walk by the creek, play on the swings, walk through the woods. Lovely stay in woodstock

Thank you, Heather, For a lovely stay. We had three generations and there was something for everyone. The whole house was very well stocked. We were sorry that the hot tub was not working while we were there and it was too chilly to use the pool because that looked lovely! We loved playing in the creek next to the property. You can tell it is a special place.

Restful family vacation

Just getting settled back in after a wonderful week up in Woodstock at this home. My 2yr old loved the swingset, pool and the toys! My husband and I were very comfortable cooking, bbq'ing and relaxing as our little guy looked for worms and toads. We will be back shortly. -K

Great weekend destination

Though minutes from Woodstock center, the property has a secluded feel. The home is very clean/comfortable and has all necessary amenities for a comfortable vacation. The large backyard is a paradise of sorts with its soothing sounds from the nearby stream and river, a large swimming pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit. My friends and I mostly relaxed at the house during our stay, but did take an enjoyable excursion to Saugerties to kayak on the Hudson. The owners are quite responsive and made the rental process seamless. You can't go wrong with this rental!

Perfect getaway

My family and I stayed at the Woodstock house for a week. It was truly a little piece of heaven tucked away in the woods. My two year old spent every morning throwing rocks in the beautiful backyard stream, my mother drank coffee in the sun room every day, and we loved having the pool and hot tub to relax in. The proximity to town was perfect and the house came equipped with everything. Heather was so responsive to any question I had. My family and I are still talking about how much fun we had. We will definitely be back!

Even Better than the Pictures

My tag line says it all. The house is lovely, every detail taken care of without being fussy- from a super well applianced kitchen to small touches like hooks next to hot tub for towels. Bathrobes, plenty of towels, clear instructions, amazing pool and lovely walks all near by. The layout of the bedrooms is also perfect, two up and two down so allows for some privacy. Even though it was a glorious weekend we were torn between being outdoors and enjoying the light and views from the very large sunroom/living room. Heather was incredibly responsive and the house was immaculate (as were the grounds).

Lovely family home, clean, wonderful for kids

Heather was a great hostess and really went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Positives were the toys for the kids, the hot tub, the location, the quick response to complaints that the pool needed to be cleaned, great seating by the pool. Things to improve: it is very very dark in the sunroom at night, the refrigerator needs to be updated, it hums constantly and has no ice maker. The septic tank backed up if we ran multiple loads of laundry and that created a smell.

Our family retreat to Woodstock

If you're looking for a place that allows you to spend the entire week at the house and the grounds around it, a place that is literally a minute and a half drive to the center of Woodstock, or a place that is centrally located then this is the house you've been looking for. We could have spent the entire week at the house with all of the amenities it has (pool with slide, hot tub, tiki bar, cable tv, Netflix, Wii, Apple tv, swing set, hammock, Jacuzzi, a river that runs along the property ((we were greeted by a doe and fawn when we first arrived)), fire pit, board games, books, DVD's and so much more) but we opted to take advantage of the surrounding area as well as the house. There are so many things to do in the area that it was nice to head out on a scenic drive in to the mountains then hike for a few miles to find a breathtaking view and have the short drive back to the house to take a swim and relax with a drink by the bonfire or simply take in the amazing stars at night. The property and house were more than we expected as was the attentiveness and recommendations that we were afforded by Heather. We loved the stay and obviously can't say enough about it. Highly Recommend staying here!!!!!!

We had a fantastic time!

We stayed at this home over MLK weekend and a wonderful time was had by all! We were a large group-8 adults and three children ages six and under- and there was plenty of space for all. The home and property were beautiful and well maintained. The house has everything you need including many baby items and toys and books for the kids which made packing easier. We enjoyed many family meals around the table which fit everyone comfortably. We especially enjoyed spending time in the back room which had beautiful panoramic views of the property. There was a light falling snow every day that added to the beauty and serenity of our experience. The hot tub was even more fun in the snow! The property is in a great location, a short drive to town and about a half hour to the mountains for skiing or snowboarding. It was our first time in Woodstock and we loved checking out the local shops and galleries. The property owners were incredibly easy to work with. It is evident that they have put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring your experience is one of relaxation and thorough enjoyment. We really loved the house and the whole experience and would highly recommend this home for your stay in Woodstock!

Perfect Home for a NY Getaway

We just returned from a week at this charming home in Woodstock and it exceeded our expectations. The home was exceptionally clean and organized, and offered many amenities that are often missing in rental homes (nice bedding, plush bath and pool towels, great pool toys). The home was also fully stocked (seasonings, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.) and while we did not use any of these (we brought our own), it was nice to see them offered. It's evident that the homeowners are not pinching pennies in their rental and want you to feel at home. The grounds are simply amazing - from the pool, to the hot tub, to the creek, and playground - the kids and adults had an absolute blast. If I had to point to any "cons," I would say that the air conditioner in the kids room is a bit noisy (we couldn't have it on during the evening), and the check-in time (4pm) is too late, especially given the check-out time (11am). Essentially, we lost two days of our week vacation and given it rained 80% of the time, we could've used them (especially the last day since it was the second of two sunny days we had the whole week). I did not ask for a late check-out because our request to check-in early was denied on the basis of the cleaning crew needing the time to clean thoroughly, but given the size of the home, I don't think 5 hours are necessary for cleaning, especially if there are 2-3 people cleaning. However, Heather was absolutely wonderful to deal with overall, and always responded promptly and in a friendly manner, which I really appreciated. (And the home and grounds were spotless.) Overall, I would definitely rent this home again.

Upstate Fun!

Three families and their children stayed at this gem of a home over President's Day Weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is fantastic--close enough to walk to the market/restaurant in the nearby area, a short drive to town, but far enough away to still feel very remote. The set up of the house is great--there is a large living room and an equally large dining/sitting area near the kitchen. We had 6 adults and 3 active children under 3 and the house never felt crowded. The view from the living room is gorgeous--all trees and a stream is just a short distance from the house. Deer were outside on the lawn in the evening, which was a treat for us city folk. The rooms are all tastefully decorated and the house is very clean and organized. You can tell that a lot of work has gone into the place to get it up and running for renters. I've stayed in places where the home felt sterile and this place manages to feel new/clean, but still very homey, which was great. The kitchen is well appointed with all necessary cooking supplies. The DVD collection is also amazing! Very kid friendly, which is great if you have children, but also not annoying if you don't have children. There were toys for the kids to play with, books for them to read and a highchair/pack and play, which was great to not have to lug with us. They have thought through everything--outlets are covered and kitchen sink cabinet is locked. Highly recommend this home. Lots of little extras that made us feel like we were staying at a friend's place rather than a typical rental. It's a wonderful get away. We hope to be back in the summer, as the pool/BBQ/tiki bar are tempting, as is the stream out front for my husband to fly fish! Thank you for the wonderful long weekend getaway.

Pleasant but Disappointing

Our family of five enjoyed our stay at this property. The layout of the ground floor was excellent, with lots of comfy seating and areas for adults and children to be together. It was wonderful to be able to be in a dog-friendly environment that was surrounded by lovely woods and a lovely play area/pool area/hot tub and grilling sections. However, there were some drawbacks that did diminish our enjoyment of the weekend home. The downstairs bedrooms have little room and few amenities, such as bedside tables. The master bedroom does not have two bedside tables. No rooms have ideal situations for plugging in electronics--way too few outlets for the number of people allowed and no extension cords. The televisions are a mystery to the common person, including a young man in the tech field who was part of our group. More info on the televisions' operation and how to access special channels is needed. The upstairs shower water has a low pressure and probably needs a new shower head. The house is barely clean enough but certainly does not sparkle. Paper products were in short supply in the kitchen--one roll of paper towels, no napkins that we could identify, and few plastic bags. This is difficult because there is no garbage disposal. The dishwasher turns itself on from time to time! Heather was very pleasant to deal with. The only problem on that front was house instructions--we received someone else's in August and did not get ours until the day of arrival after several requests. She was saintly in answering our questions and requests both in advance of and during our stay. All in all, we believe this house is justifiably priced on the high side because of the pool, the play area, the pet allowance, and the setting. We think that the condition of the home and the absences of sparkle and shine in its upkeep and comfort amenities makes the price too high.

I'm a mom, writer, yogini and travel agent. Woodstock has been a peaceful escape from the concrete jungle we live in and a place that we love to spend time with family and friends. It's truly a joy to be able to share our special place with others who hopefully enjoy it as much as we do.

Our Brooklyn family wanted a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and we just love Woodstock -- the people, the town, the vibe and the music. And the clean mountain air. When we were visiting potential properties my daughter called this one 'Paradise' and I'm inclined to agree.

Now that we've left the city, we still love spending time at our upstate escape. It always feels like vacation time when we are in Woodstock.

We love this house because there is plenty of space for entertaining and enjoying one another, but also privacy with four separate bedrooms. It's close to town, but feels very private. We spend a lot of time ourselves at the house and try to make it the perfect place to stay for ourselves, as well as our guests.
